Yes, they took all of the blue out of their outfits to make super Saiyan blue stand out. But then they went back to their old outfits which especially on Vegeta just looked odd. Goku looked alright though, I actually rather his og look more anyway.

I like the Whis Gi for Vegeta but Goku’s Whis Gi was far too baggy for my taste. The belt on his old Gi actually tightens the look together but with the Whis Gi his tunic and belt just flow

When playing Androids who regenerate Ki, I would reccomend skipping out on the beams and instead using the extra Ki to chase and pressure them with Ki Blasts. These Androids allow for an extremely aggressive playstyle which keeps the opponent on the backfoot while you progressively get stronger. Of course, running behind on Ki is much worse for you than it is for them, so it's best just to keep them low on Ki and cash out when swapping or killing (pretty sure their Ki regenerates when they're off-field as well).

Hey lotus, idk if you know, trunks has sway tech. Offensive, if someone vanished your attack, you can actually step behind them by double tapping X in their direction. Or us X+O in their direction. While ssj he can only do this defensively. Hope it help ❤️

As for androids in this game, it's heavy rewarded for rush attacks, the ki gain is huge and don't finish combo's on a special, instead either immediately charge them or if you have enough ki, sparking and rush them down

When playing an Android you gotta play way more aggressively since you don't need to charge ki you can prevent your opponent from charging ki by always attacking never letting them rest, transform, or switch out is the strength of an Android since you'll be charging ki the entire time it only benefits you to get in there

There are arguments to be made that certain types of balancing is MORE important in a Casual game than a Competitive game. Wanting to be able to play the game in a different way is much more legitimate a sentiment in a game where "casual fun" is meant to be a higher priority than winning. Like playing Smash Bros with Items On - You don't need to play with ALL items on, it is understood and legitimate to turn off some items, not because you are trying to "balance" the game, but because you are trying to maximize the fun. The same argument can be made here, saying that certain things should be changed - not to make the game "competitively balanced", but to make it more fun.

5:15 FOR REAL, this is literally my biggest complaint in the game. After playing so much SF6 and throwing parry happy opponents this just feels so wrong. If you throw someone who is doing perception it should do extra damage and take some ki, not get teched. You can literally spam guard while holding perception (and vice versa, but that's another conversation). More generally, I think there are way too many situations where throws SHOULD be untechable, but for some reason are, like on a big recovery or stun. On the plus side, one time I accidentally threw somebody out of their Rush Super, like they flew right into my hand and it felt godly. Just as an aside, I kinda wish that Ki Blast Cannon Rush Chain should read as a projectile against perception. It just kinda looks awkward to me to see them block and counter it like it was a punch. Looked super weird when Hit was just standing in Trunks energy blast in a karate stance.

You gotta keep up the aggression with hands with androids. Most of the time I never out of ki it's also why easier to throw out regular ki blast in your game plan to stagger enemy's for more combos. My main team is usually 18 19 gero and videl

I agree with the whole defense problem. It feels like you're safe on anything and everything which just encourages spamming. Even worse when I'm punching them, they're flinching and being hit, and yet they perform a sonic sway mid ass beat. Very cool. (Hate unblockables btw. Why does Goku Black have a 3 bar unblockable super?! Ultimates, fine. But why a basic super that still deals hefty damage?) My main problem is the timer. I often find my matches running out of time, and sometimes its not even because my opponent is running. We're just scrapping normally, and even in a 3v3 format, that time will start ticking and lead to an unsatisfying W or an annoying L.

Good matches but the more I play ranked the more I hate this game. The online is gonna tank and by tank I mean soon it’ll be nothing but sweaty players having vanishing wars with full ki bars so it takes forever and using every cheap exploit in the book. And then of course the best combo strategy is hitting people from behind. And people thought this trash was gonna dominate the fgc. You see people who never rage quit in other fighting games rage quitting in this. Or having such a bad time they take breaks for days before coming back to it. No way will this have dlc support as long as XV2, not unless the dlc is mainly more single player story missions and what ifs along with extra fighters. If it’s just more fighters they need to nerf a whole lot of stuff.

stepping needs to be what perception is right now, i think its way cooler to be flipping and zooming everywhere like in Kakarot than just pose looping and getting an auto block with little payoff :\ stepping needs to spend less or no ki and it need to ACTUALLY dodge ki blasts, so many times when im thinking Oh ill dodge this but just get smacked in the face by a kamemeha. after that, super counter and R counter need to switch (super being front only and R being back and front but costs skill), getting behind your opponent should be the one thing that cant be countered so easily, spending skill points (that need to generate WAY faster btw) that you get from vanish wars to break out of a vanish war or back attack, in turn resetting to neutral should be the loop. getting behind your opponent should be a huge reward of damage or full combo, still vansihable at the right moments but you need some kind of reward. its bullshit doing all this work to get a lil damage but someone just super counters and vanishes into free super feels bad man was only a casual on tenkaichi back when i was a kid so i dont really get the mechanics lol so i definitely find games like fighterz way more fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lotus you're not talking crazy bro, the fact you can tech a throw no matter if you spam perception or throw out a fckn beam is so dumb. They also need to do something with the defensive mechanics they're too spammy and make people play that stall play style, like make perception not be spammed and if you whiff on it allow people to punish properly, super counters should be 1 frame like they were in bt3 or atleast 3 frames. Also vanishes need to change the timing of vanishes if you're in a vanish war so it's not just keep doing this back and forth until someone runs out of ki. Also false courage needs to be changed up tired of seeing people with no skill in A rank and up just spam android teams get their super armor and just heal I've teched so many damn android grabs I do the motion in real life lmaoo last but not least Vegeta's best fit to me is his buu saga fit its simple but showed how much he's changed as a character and then whis gi is 2nd !
