I'm impressed he's doing a monotype run of this! I have two playthroughs that I've called Duo-type runs. Both of my protagonists for these runs are siblings that aspire to be gym leaders that specialise in multiple types. One called Ashleigh who specialises in Flying types and Steel types and the other called Ricky who uses Electric types and Ground types!

Yea, they should have made two completely different set of gym leaders for each game. And made a post game feature where you can check out the minor league leaders and inspect their puzzle design and battle prowess as the champion. I am reasonably certain we do meet the minor league leaders in the form of those random type specialists in the league rematch and star tournament they just don’t have any unique designs.

I'd like for him to do a Water Type run. A good story is in any (which is most) regions that have a Water type leader, the goal isn't to become the first gym leader, but to overthrow the existing gym leader by convincing the leaders, Elite 4, and Champion of your power with Water types. Water types are my favorite.
