I love how Kuai Liang's tower ending introduced Hanzo Hasashi. Also the tower select screen is reminiscent of the OG games, to be precise MK3 and MK4. And that scorpion skin looks like something Jin Sakai (Ghost of Tsushima) would wear, make sense seeing that Daisuke Tsuji is voicing Scorpion

Not letting you change characters is a change I welcome. No more counter picking. They're forcing you to play those bad MUs with your character and giving you the option to change kameo is a great mitigation. For example you play johnny cage and had a kameo for star power setups or something then you get zoned out and lose, then you can pick a kameo better suited to deal with zoning.

Honestly, as much as I prefer Hanzo as Scorpion, but after viewing the story mode more, I kinda like Kuai Liang as Scorpion, as how he is in original and NRS timeline, Kuai Liang's personality is still way more humble than Bi-Hans. SPOILERS: I like the idea of having Kuai Liang manage to kill off the Lin Kuei and manages to actually changing it to the Shirai Ryu, and cute how it's named after Harumi, but to be exact, Bi-Han is still a live so the Lin Kuei will still be active if Bi-Han manages to get half of the clans, so the rivalry of both brothers is actually amazing.

I’m guessing character selection before pairing is to prevent ppl from picking characters that are perfect to match up against another certain character, just try to be the better one with the character you choose

It honestly hurts that Hanzo is not Scorpion anymore I mean that origin story was by far the best in the entire MK lore and also not having that brutal netherrealm fire specter I think kinda kills the mystic of Scorpion overall. Kuai Liang as Scorpion is amazing but is not even close of what Specter Hanzo Scorpion was.

Idk scorp feels werid. Having four strings no lows is scary I got eaten alive by barraka. His best took is prob standing 2 cause it's like +6 but then the next button is -15😂😂😂. Damage is nuts though hard to get in and not get mashed on with all your highs.
