I've been playing Tekken for a while and even I can learn something from you, particularly just stopping to watch replays. As a Mighty Ruler in Tekken 8, I'm very impressed with your progress in this video, keep it up!

Im sure you were inspired by similar videos of this type but what makes yours different is how professionally you approach it ( comes from the coaching i guess). 8 has been made as accessible as possible and its very refreshing to see someone actually put the time in and make full use of all the stuff it has to offer. Really maximsing your growth here. Looking forward to see you get to fujin ranks

Throws are mostly something that you learn with experience. The throw is broken using the button that corresponds to the arm you were grabbed with. Some characters have throws that are exceptions to this (like King, King has a few tricky ones). Which throw is being used is all up to assessing what throw would be most logical to use there, meaning the more knowledge you have of other characters, the more likely you are to see their throws coming before they even use them, let alone once the animation starts. For a "beginner", I'm impressed. Would love to see you do more videos on your Tekken journey. Dropping you a sub.

Just getting back into Tekken myself. I played a ton of T1-Tag1 and a small amount of T7. Hype that we got a Peruvian chatacter so I'll be using her for sure.

So for King players that like to spam throws like that, you can duck it and get a huge launch punish off of it. It seems like this guy liked to do a lot of throws after you woke-up or after he did his little fancy sidestep, so that would be a good time to duck and punish. Breaking the throws just takes practice lol, King has been and will always be frustrating to me 😂 Good luck! 😄

if you dont want outside help ignore this: while running moves are usually all plus but they are pretty linear meaning you can side step those some what easily.

Gotta be careful with throwing out b 1 2 since that move is punishable aswell (-14), cause im pretty sure that law player actually punished you(intentionally or not) -14 is basically a launch if your back is to the wall, or worse yet, breakable/blastable wall
