Welcome back and I love how you said everything about the first game but let's remember after you know how all the pieces move the biggest and greatest thing you need is perception so let the chief and head programmer show you a true insight, when there are multiple strengths in combinations in a situation along with multi perceptions that have to be understood in the visionary more than the mathematic can only tell me where I should focus my intentions the most.😮

Very good video. I think it would be nice to see you do a video on the Rat Defense: Balogh-Staunton Gambit. It seems like a very fun and incredibly underrated opening for black but there is little to no recources for learning it on the internet.

Great game; Killer gambit Solomon! The Wing gambit is hardly known & delayed Wing gambit is for sure an even more unknown dark horse. Bravo! Cheers!

Also like the wing gambit but it's not my preferred game against the Sicilian to wide open for my liking

I played the Mengarini for a while but it only really does well if black play Nc6. The d5 line is just ok. The e6 line really favours black. They will get a pawn advantage, retreat their bishop and put pawns on d6 and e6. Played it so many times and zero compensation for the lost pawn. And there is also the g6 line, which is just incredibly complex. Does white play b4? Some people suggest white should go with h4! Just my opinion, but if you want to play a gambit against the Sicilian, try the Smith Morra. So many players with black are unable to get their pieces out in time

I reckon 2...Nc6 is simplest, provided that after 3.b4 you go...Nf6! =/+ rather than accept the gambit e.g.: 1. e4 c5 2. a3!? Nc6 3.b4 Nf6! as in Rozman-Sarana 0-1 (30) TT2022

@@roqsteady5290 not sure I would call it simple, because white can play b5 with tempo. But looking at the 22 GM games with Nf6, black has won virtually every single one, so you must be on the right track with that move.
