Yeah, if Titan said "Colossus + 2 thunder monsters" itd work I would imagine, but since it doesnt... BACKROOMS FOR YOU, EVIL ONE!!! Didnt come up, but.... "If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can banish 1 Thunder monster from your GY instead." Does that still apply while its a spell, since it doesnt mention it being a monster? So if you put Colossus in the Backrooms and Feather Duster, does it protect itself regardless? I would imagine it doesnt because its still only a monster effect, but im a little unsure cause it just says "If this card..."
@thomassmith70205 ай бұрын
@FloPe97 I imagine it would since that’s what happens with Shooting Quasar Dragon if it was equipped to a Cyberdark monster. Even if it was never synchro summoned, if it leaves the field it special summons; so, I assume that if it were to be destroyed in the backrow and not removed any other way then it would still work.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with long episodes. If there are 4- 4 1/2 hours of content that you think deserves to be in the episode then it should be that long. Likewise if you think there’s only 3 hours of content that deserves to be in then it should be 3 hours long. I understand wanting to keep the episodes at a certain length but I don’t think it should come at the expense of interesting duels and/or pack openings or deck updates.

Although Snake Eyes is - in general - a very difficult deck to play against, I must say, that Vanquish Soul player in Platinum hurt to fucking watch - as a still somewhat learning Vanquish Soul player myself; that folk Did Nothing and ran out of ideas; that was an attempt at a Vanquish Soul deck with a Kashtira engine; but they wasted the Magnamut's search during your turn, immedeatly blanked the Stake Your Soul for NOTHING; and then Immedeatly ran out of gas after ALSO failing to use the Mad Love. They could've summoned Mad Love first, get their effect ashed the fuck out, link it off into Rock Of The Vanquisher and use its effect to bring the Mad Love back to the hand from the graveyard. From there THEN they could've used their Stake Your Soul to bring out a Borger and probably activate for a free draw. That is, of course, if it didn't all hinge on GETTING MAD LOVE. OUT OF STAKE YOUR SOUL. BECAUSE THE KASHTIRA ENGINE, TOOK ALL WIND OUT OF VANQUISH SOUL'S SAILS. Good lord that was either a horrible hand, a badly constructed kashtira engine, or in general just an absolute missplay; it is easier to bait a second Ash using Rock of the Vanquisher than trying to bait anything else with a Promethean of their own Though of course, it's Snake Eye. Snake Eye is terrifying if you let them build and have nothing to break them out of the field; absolute missplay; god knows what the last two-three cards in hand were. -------- Either way, great work on that Snake Eye shenaniganery, very entertaining watch surprisingly enough, seeing people having to deal with its shenanigans is most entertaining when not on the receveing end

A funny detail, unless there is a ruling I haven't found, I think that Flamberge can bypass proper summoning of extra deck monsters, because it makes them into spell cards and then summons from the spell/trap zone this may allow actions like pitching a Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon or Unchained Abomination via Extra Foolish Burial or Cyberdark Claw, then using Flamberge Dragon to make that monster a spell card on your turn and then summon it on the opponent's turn. I don't expect this to be a very useful play but it would be funny to see somebody pull it off if it works.

got a guilty conscience from playing snake eyes so I mixed metalfoes in which resulted in such a fun and high ceiling puzzle deck with basically so much gaz that your true enemy is the clock and not your opponent, as well as maxx c and droll of course. going through beyond the pendulum + electrumite/astrograph putting down a vortex dragon, savage dragon, early apolousa or, depending on hand and opponents interaction, all of them before even normal summoning snash is just crazy. PLUS mithrilium is basically the most explosive combo piece for princess you can get your hands on, almost too explosive tbh. its got just endless non linear combos, didnt have that much fun with a deck in a long time

I think i could see why if hardleg doesnt, and i hope that does not happen, get that many views in this video. Most of the joy, in my opinion, is of hardleg managing to get far with decks by playing unconventional decks, or just plain ol' rogue decks, because is fun to see the meta crumble, and prove that it can crumble, by decks that are not the most optimized for the current ladder climb. And while this video shows really cool plays and the clever ways he plays around disruptions against other players, it doesnt feel as special because "He is playing the best deck in the format, and it does by default manage to play around anything with some moderate thinking on how to operate it" With that said i might be wrong, I have to wait and see if the numbers hardleg gets here and see if they are around the same as the tearlament climb he did. With that said I know his patreon mostly voted for this deck not because of being a fun rogue or meta deck, but more so his community can understand more how snake-eyes works.
