In this video we continue our Star Wars scale model printing and filming! We used the HUGE ‪@phrozen3d‬ SONIC MEGA 8KS resin 3D printer to print a Tie Fighter and then filmed a some fun shots and edited them in Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro. This is just too much fun!

I want to see it all!! If I had to choose then I would choose fictional prints that serve a purpose whether it’s a clip to hang baseball caps on the wall or replacement pieces for a piece of equipment!!

I get what you mean about the size and weight, similar to my Halot Mage S, which is about 60 lbs and about the same outer dimensions.

You should try Sunlu ABS like resin. It's low odor, results in similarly flexible but sharp prints, and is really cheap. Ever since I first tried it last year, it's been my go to resin.

I thought I update you LM, I am going to dismantle the FL Sun QQ-S Pro Delta printer I have as having way too many faults and leveling issues I tried but it will soon be dismantled and put back in it's box as spares. ( I always keep the original boxes & always take photos of the un-boxing of the printers for re-packing if needed later ) My Aquila also will be soon dismantled too again I done everything to fix it's leveling problems and the extra upgrades have not helped, that be packed into the it's box too. The Neptune 3 has a thermistor broken so having to redo that before I use it, The path to run the cable from the head to the base computer is fiddly and it seems odd but the cable is short by 6 inches from going to the plug on the board even though the cable length seems the same as the original? I have just got a JST white plug types box with the geared JST crimper tool to do the tiny metal pins that go into the white plugs I have the different types so I will try to make a extension cable that plugs in to the male and female white plugs! I got the Elegoo Neptune 3 Max back up and running now the leveling problem has been sorted after tons of work! handy for doing TPU insoles and soles for mu shoes just takes tons of time due to the printer being a Marlin slow printer and TPU is a slow to print filament. The Qidi X Plus 3 is out of action due to all three printer cooling blocks of the hot end blocked by filament. so hard to clear them! The Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus is working fine. And as for the Resin Elegoo Saturn 8K printer well, it along with the XS wash & cure units are being repacked into their boxes too, As I said before the resin is a no go here in the UK, I got lots of left over water washable resin washing water here I can't deal with? So I stopped doing resin. Seeing your new resin beast system good for you as you can deal with the left over waste I can't. I would like to replace my dismantled printers with the new Qidi 4 Plus printer, but my money is half what it was due to my wages being cut down to half as the higher boss stopping most overtime I and others did so now I can't afford to pay bills and save up for the newer printers! big pain indeed. Here the Qidi 4 Plus is about £700. Way too much for me sadly. I have a couple of designs for products I've made up for printing. But have to get some stock printed before doing any selling? We see what happeens?

Point a Fill light on the green card

The green is just too close to the model, I am going to do the next ones on all black. It reflected SOOO much green onto the model I removed the fill light.

Yes move green back so it doesn't bounce as much but fill on the card itself (to even the hue and eliminate shadows), will let you keep the chromakey tight. More key light on the model will help reduce the bounce too.
