Glad you’re OK. On the plus side it was a day that you really wanted to ride fast that you found out you needed to. On the negative side, it’s usually days like that that we end up riding a little too fast. Again, glad you’re OK.

oops i watched a little longer and saw it on a sign, i live in vacaville so not to far away ill swing out and give this place a try! i also 100% agree on riding with riders that are more skilled than you, a lot of good lessons were learned riding with sponsored friends, its been a while since ive ridden with someone who pushed my limits and i feel as though my skill level has plateaued so i should try and meet up with more riders this season. happy trails!

This area has more trails then the one I was on. This is the only one I have gotten to explore so far. You can also access this area from the Rancho San Vicente parking lot, or the Calero County Park entrance. Rancho San Vicente seems to be the more popular parking area. Still coughing up the dust and weeks. LOL

Did that guy even give you a verbal warning that he was gonna pass you?

The first guy did, just could here it on the video. He actaully called out on the left from pretty far out, and he did have one of those bells that constantly ring while riding. The 2nd guy that past me where I was asking the other rider who had crashed if he was okay was pretty much a jerk. Said nothing approaching us, then said as he passed us that this is a one way trail from some reason. We both ignored him.

We forgot get things because we have so many things to do when we are going to video a ride 😂 and I run two cameras so it’s twice as much

Thats exactly what happened. All the prep and I forgot to put the phone in my bag. I sometimes run two cameras, but I keep one in the bag until I want a different angled shot.
