My thoughts on the Nikon Z6III after using it for 3 months across various countries doing wildlife photography and videography.

I am sooooooooo happy you said .."while i was in safari in Kenya..." it shows you went to a good school...some bloggers/vloggers like saying " when i was in AFRICA' which is very ambiguous its like saying when "i was in North America" when you are talking about NIAGARA falls..AFRICA is such a huge 54 country continent with hundreds of languages, cultures even climate.... I appreciate your keenness..

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I had the same issue with the viewfinder sensor on my Z6III. It appears only occasiponally but with my other Nikon cameras (Z6 and Z6II) I've never had that issue. First I thought the sensitivity of the sensor might be set wrong, because the rear screen didn't turn on when it was supposed to turn on. And there was no way to turn it on, other than with the dedicated button on the viewfinder to select the viewfinder mode. So it might be a problem with some more units that are arround.

Yeah I have given my feedback to Nikon about this issue - hopefully they will get something done!

@@TerenceSzeto Untill now I wasn't sure if I'm the only one who experienced this :) I'll will report it to the NPS -Service Germany on the next occasion. They might not be able to help me, but at least they might forward it to japan. Greetings

Shutter should not be used as sensor guard. Don't do that. Cleaning the sensor is easy.

I have the same issue with the eye sensor not allowing automatic switching between evf and rear screen and it's really annoying. In my testing, it almost seems like the rubber eyepiece extends a bit too far out, as i was able to get thesensor to respond properly if i lifted the rubber upwards just slightly .

Very nice review on the camera. It's not the pixels but the work of the photographer and the lenses you use, to capture the images we want. For myself at the moment I'm using the Panasonic g9 and about to upgrade to the G9 mark ii. Prefer the lightweight body and lenses.

Nice review ❤ I want to upgrade from d750 to mirrorless as hobbist how much u recommend z6ii for all type specialy family in home low light, birds wild life. What about noise in raw compared to z6iii or z8 in low light or room light.
@TerenceSzeto
@TerenceSzeto 6 күн бұрын
Z6II is definitely a big upgrade from the D750. I think if you just want to shoot general things, Z6II is very good at that, no need for Z6III. Z6II is also excellent in low light like the Z6III. You will find noise higher in Z8 compared to Z6II or Z6III.

Good much better than the Z6II , Disappointing is that Nikon are charging too much. It is still expensive every where outside USA. EG: It is still $4500 AUD in Australia for Australian stock just a bonkers price.

@@kamerafi Yes seems like Nikon just makes up prices depending on where you live and volumes . So smaller markets like Australia get the worst prices while bigger markets as you say Singapore and USA get the best prices . Nikon is price gouged in the Australian market. There is no way Z6III is worth $4500aud or when converted to USD 3900USD its a slap in the face from Nikon .Anybody who bought at those prices is puzzling nobody should have to pay those prices .

Oh my god, that is pretty insane. It's good here in India though. Inclusive of 18% GST, it's right around 2400 USD
@jtes1442
@jtes1442 7 күн бұрын
The Australian prices probably have something to do with import fees and tariffs. $2500 is reasonable for such a capable camera. If you wait a while, the price will drop by $500.
