Hey Nenghuo, love your tutorials, thank so much for your time and patience! I'm having an issue with the rotation part, at the 9:38 mark. I noticed my fish is with a rotation of 90 on the Y axis, but when I try to apply the transformation, it deforms my entire fish. But doing this, it fixes the rotation animation. Do you know how could I fix the rotation without deforming it? Thanks!

Beautiful tutorial! 😃 I followed all the videos, up to the explanation on the movement of the fish. Unfortunately, putting the parameters you indicated, the fish was deformed. For some settings, I solved by putting an extra zero, for others, there was just no way to match them. For the settings on the movement, I entered, precise, precise, the numbers, but I only got a fish that didn't go all the way and didn't move sinuous😔 Also for the textures I had to do it in a completely different way, the settings didn't match and "alpha" gave me a diffused transparency all over the body, some dots and not precise from the center of the body or from the edge of the tails. I'd love to make a fish as nice as yours, but I don't understand why the parameters don't work as well as you do 😮‍💨

@@miritooo HI! no, I also tried with other parameters, but the only solution I found was just to make scenes that hid the areas where it was more evident that it wasn't done well

@@eleonoraocchipintigrafica thanks for the reply! that's actually a very creative solution. I also kind of fixed my problem i think? I played around with the numbers and fish scale etc. it still doesn't look as good as his but i'll get there. also, my mesh in general was kind of messed up so i applied all transforms to delta which fixed it for me, idk if that has anything to do with that lol :)

I had a lot of fun following your tutorial but i just can't seem to figure it out how to perfectly smooth the swimming animation, i still end up with fishes like they spoted a shark hehehe

Yes this tutorial it's more complicated, and many detail that if one is wrong will affect the other, so it's very difficult for me to know what problem you have, so I'm suggesting you can go download the free example of this project on my gumroad and take a look at that.

Hello! I followed this tutorial very closely and it took a long time.. but I learned so much! Thank you. QUESTION: How can I have the fish move slower along the path? I tried plugging in some math nodes to affect the scene time influence on where it is on the path, but I can't get it to slow down. It is moving along the path too quickly when I have a path I want it to follow for a minute, not just 10 seconds. Any help appreciate!! :)

In the first file(NENGHUO Shared), they all move the same distance whether increasing the X or Y value. But I can't achieve that, and it casues deformation in the following steps, Please help !
