fixed it! if you put the smooth modifier on top of the geometry modifier the gaps disappear🔥🔥

@@arlanvdp3616 if you put top the smooth modifier, it will apply it BEFORE the Geometry nodes, so the noise isn't smoothing out (at least at me) the issue is that the Vertex Groups are disappaer afther the GeoNodes , and i couldt found yet how to solve it

I'm trying to follow this but the fins of your fish started to get curvy in the steps following the subdivision node. Even after grabbing the distance attribute, the noise still has really sharp corners T - T. I'm a begginer but still trying to make this beautiful fish

If anyone is stuck on this section, yes, you do want to make sure that you are apply the scale and rotation but you also want to make sure that you scale your model big enough so that way the noise texture can work properly. Not too small.

if you go to edit mode you can see "Select" on the upper menu and if you press select linked -> linked and then hold shift and do the same for another eye you can select both eyes at the same time. spent 2 days trying to figure this out so I hope it works for you hehe
