I modified mine to run on a brushless hub motor controller and thumb throttle from an e scooter,it's 36v and runs on two of my makita batterys and goes 20mph

What tune are you running on that brushless set up I got the same kit been messing around with the max motor amps, to reduce heat 70 amps seems to be my sweet spot

I’m running the stock tune from Chargedup3d but adjust my throttle response to have an exponential curve instead of polynomial. Then I set it to around 9%. Gives me a little more power when I step on the throttle especially for backies. I’ll def try it out tho.

Ahh okay good to know I’m running basically the same set up just not chargedup3ds version, 7070 brushless motor and a flipsky 75100 trying to dial in my tune gonna try messing with the throttle curve thanks for that tip man

Your likely running into heat issues because your using the 170kv version, our kits use the 150kv version :) it can also be found motor alone on our site for not much more!
