PSA: juicers don't remove the "bad stuff." They just take out the fiber. That concentrates the nutrients BUT it also concentrate the sugars. And without the fiber, it's not nearly as filling, so it's easier to overconsume calories

For the gushers, there's not much of a liquid center when you actually cut it open, sure, but the liquid also already has thickeners in it and then it is being smeared all over the machine and the gummy exterior, making it look like there's even less filling than there is

It's a tad bit of an oversimplification. There is a diet that states pushing your food through a juicer and drinking your lunch makes it easy for your body to absorb your food. It also says cooking your food makes it safe to eat but also rids it of all the nutrients. The bad in this case is stuff they claim is hard to digest. Like palp. It's a diet made to sell juicers and it works because you're eating less. I was on it briefly for medical reasons. Doctors tried to pinpoint what enzymes I have and what I'm missing.

The thing about juicing is it's meant to extract the bulk from the actual nutrient of foods which sticks in the liquids of it better. It also helps breaks down foods for your body since w/e condition they are in afterwards it takes less effort for the body to process. The bulk, isn't bad so much as just dense and holds less of the 'juice' than it did before. mind you this is meant for whole foods of fruits & veggies where breaking the food down is difficult for the food it self & nature. Not processed foods, or starches which aren't mean for their own eating outside the plant it's from.
