Good luck! I have been in fleet life for 35 years and like it. Been fortunate everywhere I’ve been they like their stuff fixed, no short cuts. Sticking to the basics on how stuff works goes a long way when working a board range of stuff.

I may no longer be a full time technician but I can say that when I moved from automotive to diesel equipment it was the best change for me during that phase of my professional life. Best of luck!

Best of luck man , although luck has very little to do with it. I feel you about the stagnant feeling. What brand or company are you going with ? My biggest concern about a move line this is that our bodies aren’t getting any younger man. Scary to think about going bigger , heavier in that regard 😓. Best wishes nevertheless. You’ll be fine now matter what. The industry is hurting BADLY for good techs like yourself. I admire your courage. Imma just try to crawl across the finish line for the next 11-13 years 🤞🏽- God willing 🙏🏽

Good luck with your new adventure. The only way I found to actually get a decent wage increase is to move every few years. 21 years should've meant something to your boss but apparently not. The industry wonders why there's a lack of ppl coming into the field. Have a happy new year!

I’ve been with you for a while and I just moved from a dealership to a smaller shop but I’m not sure how I feel about it I’m making more money but the shop owner is kinda a trip and I think it is making my home life difficult because I’m always tired and grumpy
