This is a good decision I think. My family did the same when they had their 2 kids. Nats, the world is your oyster. You can work part-time from home for companies looking for transcribers and small administrative tasks to be done, you can go back to school part-time and do online courses. You will feel free and happy being home but after a few months you might start to feel unhappy because you are not having a daily "outside routine" but I trust that your husband will support you emotionally 100% (if and when that time comes)....I hope it doesn't. Being at home with kids is the same as having a full-time job but your girls will love you more because they have your undivided attention and you will be giving them the care and attention that lots of other kids don't have. I wish you guys the best.

Just few years ago, a family with an autistic child cannot stay in Canada, which was just horrible. Finally Canada immigration has changed for the better and I am so glad.

I’m a special needs teacher and I work with students k thru 5th grade in the USA. Why do you have to pickup your daughter if she have temper tantrums? We have students that have tantrums throughout the day, running out the door, crying and screaming almost all day/everyday this happens everyday. Those teachers are trained to work with students like your daughter and she’s not the only student with those behavior. Why didn’t you have a conference with the lead teacher and school administrators to let them know you’re working parents and why the teacher can’t handle the problem. Is she in her placement for autism. You need to be in the USA because the parents won’t pickup unless sick and the teachers don’t call parents unless they’re sick. Speak up with those teachers they don’t want to work. I hope your wife is able to find an evening job when you return home from work.

Hey Natz, I'm thinking it was not an easy decision to make financially & otherwise, but it's for a good reason. I think you could try working from home, 4 hours per day, perhaps, could make for more flexibility😢. I have faith that it will all work out. Malika, needs support, I really want her to progress the best way possible. Life is about change, so nothing remains constant and there are many lessons to learn. Sometimes a leap in the unknown, unearth new opportunities. Praying for you guys, take care and be blessed❤❤❤

I think you made the best desicion caring for children with disabilities is not for the weak. I am trusting God that everything will be okay. Wondering if Nats could get a caregiver subsidy ? Not sure how it works but I once heard that ppl can get paid to care for their disabled kids. God and time

@@DiAndersons Demz lots of companies like Amazon, Delta Airlines and others have online customer service jobs that she could work from home. I don't know what Natz previous job was but those online work from home customer service jobs usually just require computer skills ( based on what I've seen them advertising). I see ads from different companies seeking customer service employees pop up on the KZbin news feed all the time. Think of a company that she'd like to work for and then check online to see if they're looking for customer service support. Some income is better than no income and she'd have flexibility.
