I Quit Playing Jungle

Thank you for watching my jungle guides over the last year or so. Hopefully they have been useful to you. But now its time for me to try something else. Jungle guides are not completely done, but as of right now, I'm not gonna release more anytime soon.
Instead, we will be focusing on other stuff that I talk about in the video, and creating content with that in mind. Hopefully, you will like them too. Thank you!

As an ADC main I started watching this channel from the "Find your ADC main" video. I've never seen such a well constructed tier list that focuses on how a champ plays in the game not just their wr% that patch. After watching more of your vids i started gravitating towards jungle but never really clicked with any of the jungle champs and their playstyles. I'm super excited to see where you go and what vids you make with this challenge. Hope i can pick up some pointers too along the way.

I don't like playing jungle anymore either. It pains me that the junglers get hit the most in this game due to seasonal changes, the EXP nerfs in it and the jungle camps are so tanky that there is no point in junglering some characters for this role after 15-20 minutes because it takes too much time. This season I thought the pace of the game would slow down, but I was very wrong. I have the impression that people who have never played as much jungle as in other roles still cry about jungle having the biggest influence on the game, the famous "jungle diff". In my opinion, since I started playing there, midlane has had the greatest influence on the game, but few people see it and many people think I'm an idiot because of it. I still play jungle because that's where my two favorite characters, master yi and viego, thanks to whom I had grandmaster, are the most playable, but recently I've been looking for my own place, playing different roles and characters.

Its just a shame how every season carries a traditional jungle nerf.

Ad carry play style is to perma agro, going for plays with 30% or less chance of success, and if it went south, blame the support or the jungler for no ganking twice a minute, even with no vision control or wave advantage. Moreover, overextending with no vision and ignoring danger pings and dying by obvious ganks that were insanely warned.

I've started to play Support and now even Mid....As a jungle main this is a Breath of Fresh Air! Also, since I already understand jungle, playing these two roles becomes very easy since you can also help your jungler and control the map by making plays.

JG is such a high risk low reward Job. I literally threw a game last night cause when a Yi invaded me while I was at half health while trying to save the duo lane, they chose to farm and get turret while I was desperate pinging for help. I cannot believe how much blame the JG gets with teammates that make me want to ff. I would much rather face the penalties than let these people win at this point.

felt the same way brother. I play a lot of assasins like kha zix, evelynn andocasionally udyr and hecarim. Got to ghigh plat until I felt like I needed to change because even if I create huge leds earlygame for the team, I just feel like i'm not getting the results (I understand that kha does fall of late game, point still stands). I have also started playing ad carry lke caitlyn and miss fortune because I understand how the enemy jungler behaves most of the time, the macro aspect, whilst learning to not make mistakes as typical adc's. Interesting how we came to the same conclusion.

i right now am having the same staffs happend, but for me i gravitate to supports(but i am more of new player and just a gold yet) before i never took supports seriously, i was this selfish(and kinda toxic) jungle hecarime/nocturne player and now i funding fun and helping others and playing duo, and i actually feel like i am doing impact even if it doesn't get recognised. Only now i understand how mentaly draining jungle really is and how much toxic i actually was. i just need to say all of it somewhere Big thank you for guides and espesially tier lists, helped and is helping me a lot i would really love guide about how you play botlane as a duo

As someone who plays both roles (and is shit at both xD), I expect that you will probably be in for a bit of a culture shock. The jungle experience is certainly gonna help somewhat, but the points of view are very different for good reasons. Strict laning fundamentals don't translate over well into bot lane because the handshaking process for everything is far more complex than in solo lanes (4-way-interactions yada yada), so laning is a lot more reactive as a result. I can tell from my persvective. I migrated to Jungle from adc/mid. i played adc most of the time, hit low masters and i played most of my mid games in diamond, im not trying to ego here but i had out of mind mechanics but such a low atteinton span and mental that i just couldnt play the adc as the role requests, i was too mentally weak. Then i switched to playing jg only kindred(you get the point, adc typo char and sht). And i just love the champ and the playstyle of jungle. Its literally the best champ for my purposes and again, with the determination to improve and i was able to hit gm at euw in 1 seaon. I agree with everything you say they butchered jungle carry potential but i would still take jungle all day. The fun and thinking aspect is day and night for jg and adc. But its good to experience every role tho.

ADC mid barring some exceptions is just free kills for JG. Jinx isn't a champ til 1 item, and even then wants 2 items to start engaging properly. Any JG worth their weight in salt would make sure you never play the game.

@@Ianova nope. Jinx can easily match wave clear with meta midlaners and outranges most of them. Ganking is no problem either if ur wave management isn’t horrible

if you ask me, it's a good thing that individual players can't solo carry in a team game. if you want to be a solo allstar and not be a team player, play fighting games or warcraft 3 or something

There are 2 sides to every coin mate. I agree that I should not be able to 1v5 smash every game, but putting in systems to slow good players down, to give others a chance remove the individual aspects that make this game great. In the end, it would become as boring as watching AI vs AI.

fair enough, there's also no problem if the carry power is what initially attracted you to jungle and now you don't feel it anymore. trying ADC next is very cool because you'll rely a lot on your team and your support. your outlook could change because your goal with the role (seeing if people just suck at it and you can do cool stuff) is different than for jungle. or you could find that you just don't like relying on flaky teammates which is fine too either way, if you document your feelings (what you like/dislike about the experience) it'll be really fun to hear

ok here is the answer its torture or not ? the answer is support if your supp is better then its good and you can actually carry if not ye its pretty miserable when you cant do nothing and even cant touch le wave bc enemys supp is better and he zones you off farm and your supp just hiding behind your back while playing alastar xddd there is so much to love and hate about adc i just like the way i have to play perfectly from mechanic point to dodge everything coming my way while piling alotta damage my first mane was Ashe like was ashe otp with around 1 million mastery then i wanted something new and started playing lower range higher mobility adc like vayne and kaisa and lucian Its fun role

Do not bother to comment with your opinion because you’re wrong! “This is directed to the content creator only” You are absolutely correct. If you played season 3,4,5 & 6. Mistakes were loud and it forced players for perfection. It was the hot stove that you knew not to touch again. You never forgot your mistakes. They have done everything they can to slow players down in all roles while buffing passive income. I love LOL, but you can make so many mistakes now and still win to the point of why do people even get mad. This change was made because of E sports. When mistakes mattered it was a low point football game. A football goalie got stabbed for failing to stop a goal. Lol is a basketball match with football fans who will stab you over missing a free throw.

Jungle is the least fun its been in a long long time, it feels like they're trying to move it back into a second support type role like how it used to be back in the day, but that just feels brutal now with how much mobility and overloaded kits are stuffed into the game now. Plus, after years of jungle being this unique, rewarding role where anything could work if you were good enough, it just feels like you're on rails now.
