In this tier list video, I place every jungle champion into a certain bracket and I explain what each champion does in game, and how they want to play throughout the entire game. wow. This video needed to be made so many years ago. All coaching videos talk about - "if you are vs a ganking jg". What? Who? Wow this video is so helpful I main nunu and have been trying to experiment and find a second jungle pick for when he gets picked or banned and I keep inting by trying farming junglers and thinking I can gank like nunu. I need to learn to be patient and help my team when I can rather than force things

Nice video! This is one of those that will never get old. I'm learning jungle with Nocturne, but I'm curious to know where you would put Yorick, Shen, Pantheon and Olaf, especially Olaf since Riot will buff him for jungle next patch.

Thanks! After looking into Yorick a bit more, he does have some players but the playstyle requires ghouls to farm, so hes in the farming bracket for sure. Pantheon, Shen and Olaf would all benefit from early fights where they are really strong, so the bracket for them is skirmish. Depending on the buffs to Olaf, he might move into the "Everything" bracket, since he used to be quite decent at farming as well.

Thanks for the video. You missed Pantheon! Panth jungle is played more than Rell, Morgana, Gwen, Twitch, Nasus, Zyra, and Naafiri. Darius is also a viable jungler

I got to Diamond on Dr. Mundo Jungle (LAN so probably not a big deal) but if i were to fit him on your list, he probably be a bit of a Skirmish/Farming champ since his farming is better than most early game junglers and once he's ahead, well, you know, he goes where he pleases 👅

I love this vid since Im trying to decide which three junglers I like. I want to know what are you thoughts on kai'sa jungle since I've have a lot of success on the champ. The evolved Q and E are great for 1v1s and the W and ult is a fun ganking tool. She can struggle early until her first evolve into aggressive junglers but Im finding the pick very fun

I am not too sure about Kaisa jungle, never tried it so tough to comment on it. It would depend on how fast you clear your first rotation. That would be the key factor in my book.

As an Ekko OTP, I'd definitely say he could belong in the farming catagory. He's just ridiciously weak until he's scaled. But then again, he does have great gank/countergank potential with his long W stun

Im going to learn jungle to be my secondary role and this video really helps. One question, what has happened to Olaf jungle? Where is he?

The small rework he had shifted his power to better suit top lane and he never really recovered. His clear got worse, jungle early game got changed, and there is very little reason for him to be a jungler right now. Its a shame. I used to play him a lot before my break in 2020.

I have a question. I main ekko and i play diana when he is pick or banned i don't have a specific role i just play everything except adc and support. I wanted to know if i'm better one tricking ekko to maximise my strength with him or continue playing him and casually learning diana as back up ?

I would play both and continue learning their differences, so I can better use them when one has a more favorable matchup over the other.

Question for anyone high elo enough to understand I’ve seen a few videos of how well a champ does at a certain stage of a game. This video he put Bel’veth and nidalee in the farming to scale category but the data says Bel’veth and nidalee have some of the lowest win rates compared to other junglers after just only like 25 minutes so if they scale why are there win rates over time so low?

Its because of tempo. Nidalee/Belveth/Graves can farm very fast, but they are also invading junglers. Nidalee is not strong enough to outright kill many junglers 1v1 at level 3, but with her farming speed, she is capable of getting to her level 2,3 and 4 powerspike faster than some junglers, and invading them to contest their camp with an advantage. Thats why you see their winrate drop off after 25 min. They have failed to gain a big enough lead with their tempo advantage and they lose. One could argue that there should be an invade or tempo category, and its a preference thing, but for me, any jungler can be used to abuse tempo and invade. Thats why I just keep them in farming, because their tempo advantage comes out of farming and outpacing the other jungler.

@@ECPlaysLoLthat makes a lot of sense but I assume those type of champions NEED to invade and kill the enemy jungler in order to win games and do not like it when games are slow paced for example. If I play Gwen into lee sin and we both full clear into scuttle into full clearing again, and both jgers don’t get much opportunities to do anything due a slow game state as Gwen I don’t mind this or even happy for this cause my champ scales innately As Bel’veth I assume being in this situation is a pretty stressful due to me most likely getting outscaled by the rest of the map forcing the player to make more riskier decisions to speed up the pace of the game which I assume is something farming junglers don’t like to do which makes the playstyle different no? My apologies if this sounds arrogant I just find it hard to understand the identities of all the champ even if I know what all there abilities do

No need to apologize, its all good 👍 I think a common mistake is when people look at jungle in a vaccum and just think about the matchup. In the games where nothing is happening and Lee Sin and Gwen only full clear, yes the advantage belongs to Gwen because of the scaling. Does Lee Sin have some options though? Does his team outscale on average? Does he have a Darius or Renekton or something that can get really strong early game? There is a lot of factors that come into play at once outside of just the jungle matchup. If I am playing Belveth in a slow game and the other jungler is not doing much, the only thing I need to do is to play with my Prio lane and start looking at the map from a 2v2 perspective, or a 3vs3. Play with prio, secure objectives on that side and continue to choke the enemy out of resources and opportunities. Agurin (former rank 1 EUW and KR) plays jungle in this fashion. He does not chase any kills or force any ganks. The most stress free way is just chasing the most efficient route and the most consistent play. If I am playing Lee Sin and my time is running out, there is no need to panic and force ganks and make the game potentially harder for my Jinx or Kayle or Viktor to carry me. You just need to shift your playstyle in that moment from "I'm gonna carry my team" to the other playstyle of "I'm gonna help my team carry me". Hopefully this made it a bit clearer😊

She is more like a tempo jungler that needs to do both pressure map do ganks obj etc bcs she has one of the best early games bcs of shes high dps mobility,sustain,burst mellee,ranged and whatever else. Nidalees tempo advantage only exists if she is up in farm and XP. The entire point of NIdalee is to outpace the other jungler and then put pressure on them when she can contest enemy camps, because of the fact that shes faster. Also Nidalee has no where near the teamfight precense that the "Everything" bracket have. I agree with your point completely, but the list is meant to state general and simplistic information for newer players and having a "tempo" bracket makes no sense, because in theory every jungler is a tempo jungler.

@ECPlaysLoL fair enough and i agree but still even for beginners as a nida main i will never suggest someone to play nida at his first at least 100 competitive games bcs she's also hard mechanically and she's jungle role designed gameplay is hard to play and she's not like karthus to just cycling ur camps and just scaling(not saying karthus is an easy champ tho).but no of these do matter actually bcs in my opinion a beginner should always firstly learn about fundamentals and basics especially in the jg. Anyways i actually've got it a lil bit too far but thats just another facts and i respect ur opinions and also agree in most cases and do some basic fundamentals videos to help new players would i also like to see!

I feel like some of the category names are off. Skirmishing category seems more like the ganking style junglers, and the one shot category seems like just a misc category. Also as a warwick player, though he can go for objectives, his level 6 is key to his gameplay so farming on him is also viable. He also likes to skirmish similar to a Volibear. Finally, I think having a category of junglers that are the invade type is important, since this would help newer junglers realize that x jungler could invade on their first clear. Kindred, graves, bel, etc. could be here.

Theres way too many "junglers" included in this list. Nobody is playing jg nasus. Great concept for a video but poor execution. The categories made are not specific enough and many are incorrectly listed. Kha, nid and graves do not play for farming. These champions have poor clear speeds compared to aoe jgs fiddle, hecarim, nocturne. They thrive by invading enemy jgs lvl 2 because they are stronger and have great mobility early. It would be better to have ranks like "full clear", "lvl 2 invade", "lvl 3 gank", "tank"

You missed my Queen Qiyana Jungle 🫤 i like her in Jungle really much , i enjoy her more than midlane , i know she isnt a famous jungler and her first clear is compared to others unhealthy but her Ganks are really fine 💯
