Assuming the seeds work the way they did last time, you guys will get the same moons *if you have the same story moons completed when you talk to Talkatoo*. For example, if in Lake Kingdom Fir talks to Talkatoo before beating Rango and CJ talks to Talkatoo after defeating Rango, their moons might be different.

Next time you might want to amend the rules so story moons don't count in Bowser's Kingdom. This keeps it competitive to the end and avoid having the last two kingdoms being basically scripted.

I wonder how interesting a Hint Toad speedrun/race could be, where you have to route in grinding enough coins to buy hints for every moon you need, and if you only have enough coins for a few moons, it's effectively like Talkatoo because the ones made available to you are random I can see how it could potentially be less fun than Talkatoo% because, again, it involves a hefty amount of coins, and it also doesn't give you the names of moons, just their locations Then again, for some people, it could be more fun for those very reasons, because it'd give you a reason to learn where all the coins and coin sources in each kingdom are, and would also make it so you have to memorize the moons not just by their names, but by exactly where they are on the map screen

Sounds fun tbh but subareas also have 2 moons in them and you will have to buy until you get them both

@@Iwascharliebrown Good point 🤔 If people start trying Hint Toad runs, that would definitely be an infamous aspect to the category Whichever kingdom has the most subareas would probably be the one with the worst reputation when playing this way, since it'd have the most opportunities for subarea second moons, which would be regarded as the bad RNG of this mode
