I miss my husky dog 'Storm' running Parkrun and all the way up to half marathons with me, she loved the interaction and made me look way better than I was. She's 13 now and retired herself aged 7 after sitting herself down during a 10 mile training run on a cold winter night and made me walk home 😃

I'm 58, 50 lbs overweight and it's been about 12 years since I ran a half marathon. I thought my life was pretty much over but I'm in my fourth week of getting back into running, largely thanks to you. I intend on running an ultra some day, I will continue to watch your videos to help keep my motivation up.

@MarkLewisfitness I completed Alpe Du Zwift for the first time today. Slow as fuck (1h 47m) but never done much cycling before so to be expected. Gives me a nice target to beat for next time. Probably wouldn't have happened if I hadn't stumbled across your videos last year so wanted to comment and say thanks. You've helped me get out of a rut.

Love it. I often scare my family when we go out for family bike rides. Everyone will report in on how difficult that last hill was, parking the bikes and dying on the ground for breath. I check my heart rate history: "Didn't break 120. What's wrong with you guys?" Kids : "You're a monster!"

Hilarious! You and Nixon crushed it! They defo lost apart from on the time! I did the Alpe this morning, and as a 56 year old pie muncher, I smashed them! Not my fastest time, but at 7am after a significant Christmas weight gain, I’ll take it! Sadly, I didn’t ride with my beloved dog on my back. She passed away just before the festive period and this is the first doggie related thing I’ve been able to watch without turning into an emotional wreck since. Thank you for the joy 😊 give Nixon an extra cuddle too. He is a lovely dog, what breed or mix of breeds is he? He seems a lot more up for coming out for a ride than my Beagles!
