Honestly Golurk is one of my favorites from the movie. The high definition does so much for his design, especially the glow from his eyes, runes, and the breach in his chest. No joke when the Golurks outside the station showed up on screen and I got a look at them I popped the fuck off. It always feels amazing when one of your favorites gets adapted that damn well.

To be completely honest, I love his version of Lickitung. Actual Lickitung always scared me as a kid. In the anime it was weirdly shiny like it was wet and it’s eyes were so far apart that it looked soulless and it made me feel weird. The 3D model didn’t help with it flapping around like a maniac, but then the movie came out and,ads it just a weird lizard. Not freaky, not externally wet, just a lizard with a weird tongue. I like him.

To be honest, I was the complete opposite. I originally didn’t think much of this Pokémon until I saw them in X&Y, where I found them to be one of the Creepiest and Ugliest Pokémon I’d ever seen. They started to really put me off from then on, and when I finally saw them in live action, I realised that my nightmares had become a reality. They looked absolutely Hideous.

The main problem with these designs that they didn't adapted the eyes at most of the times. In case of Bulbasaur, they made its eyes more frog looking and Bulbasaur looks great. But emolga, they left the eyes as they were in cartoons. Just make them like squirels have and it would be ok.
