I was NOT expecting you to cover Peacemaker. That and the other 2 S tiers (as of 27 minutes) are the things I remember most about any of the DCEU movies. I remember constantly laughing my ASS off during Peacemaker because of how ungodly hysterical it was, and how my parents would cringe at the opening song (I was 20 when this damn show came out), the highly uncreative names of Vigilante and Eagley, the absurdist story of possessive butterflies that wanna take over the world, the sheer amount of blood and gore to such an unnecessary yet satisfying degree, to even the emotional moments that just have John Cena screaming his lungs out and crying his ass off. I gotta go rewatch it soon.

I loved watching The Black Manta's setup. James Wan had a true stroke of brilliance as Arthur refuses to help Manta's father, citing, "You [must] beg the sea for mercy." However, the seas did not respect Curry's father either, drowning him. He begs for Mera's help, as she allows his father to live. That obvious dichotomy made me root for Manta, as if there was justice, Curry would be out of a father.

tbh Joker leads a lot of political agendas outside of comic shenanigans. To some ppl it's either rly sympathetic or just straight up bullshit. Personally, it depends on the time and day; at the time of watching, I thought it was ok but when taking into account the....fanatic reception, I re-evaluated my beliefs on the movie and thought it was over the top. Also, It's also one of those films that make you think. Outside of political agendas, there's still a question of what actually happened, and what's apart of his head. And that also might play into whether or not people like that film ig. cuz unlike Inception, it kinda seems to matter what exactly is important to the plot and what's not rly there

I only have one issue. I feel that the bias you say exists in BvS against Superman is present in Man of Steel. While the script weaves a story of hope and introspection, the directorial approach and on screen presentation of Superman seems say the opposite. The color palette is drab, the camera hand held and jittery, the tone nervous and bleak. The filmmaking is telling us: there is no hope, Superman is a god but he can’t save you, the world is an evil one. These competing forces make the movie dissonant. I suspect Zack Snyder doesn’t like Superman or the themes he represents. Snyder is an edge lord and a nihilist, he can’t help but comment on this character via his approach. The same script with a different, more suitable filmmaker would have been quite something to see.

I think I'll always hold the opinion that Black Adam could have been a nice, fun movie for DC, but the Rock's demands to be front and center and have this rivalry with Superman (when Shazam is right there) ruined it. Maybe if the DC EU wasn't cancelled it would have worked, but as it is now, the good is hidden under the Rock's ego.

going back to watch Batman V Superman (director's cut) after how terrible DC and Marvel have been the last few years, its honestly refreshing to see a superhero movie with a distinct style and vision. Say what you will about Snyder, among the other movies in this list his films will always stand out as artistically distinct and unique entries. I'd rather watch BVS over any Phase 4 Marvel movie, any day of the week

I spent a decade being emotionally abused by all the stupid internal politics that drove this franchise off the cliff & just don't care anymore. I swear, the DCEU almost hates itself as much as Disney's "sequel trilogy."

In my opinion, The Suicide Squad by James Gunn is my favorite DCEU movie. It's fun, the action was great, it's funny as hell, the cast did great, and it has all the blood and gore you can imagine. So yeah, that's my opinion. It's a great movie.
