That's a pelican on the Louisiana flag. Since when do swans have those massive beaks that pelicans clearly have? Anyways I'm from California so it doesn't surprise me that the state flag is not anywhere close to the world although it does surprise me a little that it's 27th. I mean maybe I kind of have a bias for the flag since I've lived here my whole life but I think it's a really great one.

Good state flags, IMO: Maryland (Pro Maryland. 😅) Utah (Speaking specifically for the new one) California New Mexico Arizona (Probably my favorite) Mississippi Colorado Ohio Indiana (Just needs to remove its name) Texas Alaska Hawaii Wyoming (Needs to remove the seal)
