The first book is so slow with a lot of filler and sets up so much and then books two and three are basically non stop payoffs which is why a lot of people including me think this is their favorite superhero comic ever. It’s just such a satisfying story start from finish and they really don’t leave any loose ends at all with the final chapter wrapping up every possible what if scenarios imaginable. There is really only a few loose ends they leave but they’re mainly just cool little Easter eggs for the most part rather then them setting up a sequel comic.

Mark wasn't "ok" with nevada, but he realized that Dinosaurus' plan did actually work and that the tragedy brought a really great benefit to the earth, so he teamed up with Dinosaurus in hopes that he could make him help the earth without paying that great of a cost again.

Something I love about this series is it takes your preconceived notions and tropes of super hero media and flips them on their head. Using that knowledge against you to tell a wholly unique story unlike any other I’ve ever read

I think my favorite moment in the series is in the end, when you see what happens in the future, and Mark pardons that king who tried to stab him, and when the king asks why he is pardoning him, Mark responds with: "That's the viltrumite way". I always got myself thinking about this, it's just so beautiful to see that Mark really changed the way viltrumites were. Also, great video, I'll definitely subscribe and see more of your content.

I guess this is a top 10 mix up of manga and comics. 10. Deadman Wonderland (manga complete) 9. Stray dogs/ Feral (Comics: one finished and getting a movie soon and one ongoing, same creator) 8. Usagi Yojimbo (Dark Horse comic run and then IDW. Finished and then revived. Super consistent and engaging along with being beautifully drawn) 7. Radiant Black (Ongoing Comic, basically the next Invincible. Super creative and top notch art) 6. Megaman Archie comics and Megamix manga. (Both Completed and each offering an incredible and each a unique story with the same character. Super funny, super charming and if you’re an old school gamer for Megaman plenty of references and recreations of stories past told and it’s amazing.) 5. Trigun/ Trigun Maximum. (Complete Manga, Basically one of the underrated and best manga that both unique in every way imaginable from every iteration Both of the anime adaptations are completely different but yet all have consistent quality) 4. The Last Ronin. (The Best TMNT story of all time and considered the definitive ending for the franchise. It’s getting both a video game and movie and the hype is unreal.) 3. Helsing. (Manga,Complete. Basically Dracula meets Red dead Redemption meets World War 2, It’s awesome) 2. Bone by Jeff Smith (One of the best graphic novels of all time. This was probably one of my personal favorites growing up and even to this day it’s still just as good. And the fact it was getting a series from Netflix but then canceled is a damn shame cuz it deserves one. Please read, it’s short and sweet. 1. DandaDan (Basically the next Chainsaw man, that’s all I will say) Another one that’s more of a personal like for me is Chew (comic complete) but I’m very biased towards it, it can be kinda gross but it’s incredibly funny and one of the most unique book series I’ve read. Definitely more of me thing though cuz like I said it gets kinda weird. But it’s a fav for me
