As an actor and scriptwriter with a Theater Degree, I am so happy to see someone outside the theater world enjoy Shakespeare. Also, all of your ratings for each play I 100% agree with/can respect (except for As You Like It, that’s my favorite Shakespeare comedy so it will always be a 10 for me, especially because I saw it at the Globe Theatre in London so I know I’m quite biased). And yes, Falstaff is Shakespeare’s best character. He’s in like 10 of Shakespeare’s plays, and that whole “Cinematic Universe” thing is not incorrect. Often Shakespeare would do that I believe because it’s easier to use characters from past works then to create ones from scratch. Also, I can very much relate to being able to watch a Shakespeare play live with ACTUALLY trained Shakespeare actors. It’s quite incredible to witness. Love, love, LOVE this video. P.S. Good to see you're alive and improving yourself, young man! Good choice. Great video. (you've taken a leaf out of Adrian Bliss' book on this one.) I was so relieved when you FINALLY reviewed Hamlet (yes! Do the sandwich shop!) I feel about Hamlet the way you feel about Romeo. Bad, bratty guy. Kills too many people. Really screws up Ophelia for absolutely no good reason, such that she kills herself. I hate hamlet and vowed to never see the play again, but it's hard to avoid during Shakespeare festivals! I saw it once more outdoors and a thunderstorm fast approached. Lightning was crashing and just as Hamlet was having existencial crisis and addressing poor Yorick's skull (and the actor was the best I'd ever seen playing this scene), a lightening bolt flashed and boomedvin the sky right behind Hamlet and Yorick (such as he was). And they immediately closed the play down with funny in character comments. It was the most brilliant Shakespeare moment most of us had ever experienced. Absolutely glorious. NOW I never need to see Hamlet again. That was un-toppable. And I still despise Hamlet, the cheesy little dogberry.

Mad respect man. I loved reading “The Tempest” in my English Lit class in highschool and I have many fond memories of studying some of his other plays in University. Congrats on reading through everything! You should try Beowulf next 😁 the story is great just read the modern English translation

Woah this took an insane amount of effort good on you!! How many people can say they’ve read all of Shakespeare, visited his hometown or have such incredible editing video making skills and even just the self confidence to be a KZbinr. Liam, you’re officially awesome! Good on you!!!!

I haven't watched your content before but I watch a lot of literature videos. This was one of my favorites of all time. I really, really enjoyed it and haven't stopped thinking about it since then. Please do more book related videos! Your humor and editing style are so beautiful and I'd love to see more!
