The Bee Movie is scientifically incorrect and it bothers me for some reason. A male bee(drone) unlike the female worker bee, has no stinger. He does not gather nectar or pollen and cannot feed without assistance from worker bees. His only role is to mate with a virgin queen in nuptial flight. But they do have endophallus which ruptures after ejaculation disconnecting the drone from the queen and killing him. The act itself lasts 2 seconds. After that the queen will selectively release sperm for the remaining 2-7 years of her life to fertilize the eggs. Drones do not have purpose other then mate and die. The Bee Movie should have been an existential horror. And the other aspect that bothers me is why they made worker bees male. The patriarchy went to far, now they want us to think that drones are equal to worker bees, this is ridiculous and I won't stand for this. Leave the matriarchal society of bees alone.

Didn't see this mentioned (yet), but the bee alien people's perception of Earth would be a correct one. Since the whole line of time is different as you travel light-years away, time here and there would be vastly different. We're not able to view distance space stuff in our current time. And we have advanced stuff too. So, the alien bees would believe that is how Earth is, muddy and primitive. Crazy to think about. I was blown away at learning it. Reminds me how they say the Sun would blow up and engulf a few planets. Perhaps there are species who have seen the milky way galaxy become no more.
