@Melissa-sx9vh4 ай бұрын
What's so weird is that the author is around 40-45yo but only writes their FMCs to be between 16 and 19 at best while the MMCs are always waaaaay older! If the age gap is the point why can't the FMC be at least 20? It feels weird to think about writing sex scenes between two minors so between a minor/barely legal girl and a much older man it's even weirder (and I'm only 26 not 40+)!

The way the author uses "she has a thing for fear" feels like a cop out so that the mc wanting to be with the main man doesn't feel contrived. But there's a difference between fear being a kink and getting with horrible men??? Thats like saying you like choking so you get with the man who tried to strangle you to death. It's like saying you have a thing for temperature play and getting with a man who likes to burn down buildings. Can Penelope just, like, chill for once? Their books are seriously awful and I don't get why.

Not to get too serious but back when Penelope Douglas was blogging in the early 2000s, it was common knowledge that they were attracted to children and even claimed to have flirted with an underaged cousin (but luckily never did anything as far as people know.) Penelope changed their pen name and wiped all their old posts once they started writing this slop, but some of us still remember. I wish more people knew that these books are literally written by a pdf file though, as it explains A LOT
