As a guy about to ride his Roadmaster up/back to Sturgis again this year from Central Texas, I totally feel you on the weight. Especially lugging it around during the summer months with gear on. But that size is perfect for the long-haul. Definitely going to be interesting when they do migrate the PP to their midweights. For now, the TS (with a pipe and a opened up air cleaner) is MORE than peppy enough for me on the Sport Chief though. To be honest, even before the mods it was plenty, but it just looks the part a bit better now! Awesome vid, as always, mano! Be safe.

The Rabaconda isn't perfect and it has a learning curve. It's got some balancing issues but that's at the expense of it being foldable. People have broken the machine and damaged wheels from not using it correctly too. So far, I haven't damaged a wheel and I can change multiple tires in a day no problems. I haven't done anything over 19" and 200mm yet. Max is 21"/250mm.

Quick thought on your airing down the tires. If you used that Ryobi pump to go from 0psi - 46psi, that air is super warm, bordering on pretty hot. It would cool down anywhere from 3-10psi depending on the temp of the tire and how hot the pump got the air to.

Great vid and man that mike looks SICK!! I feel ya on that heavy bike stuff. Sometimes light and nimble is the way to go. Hey man - would love to see a vid from you about all the intricacies of changing tires, like start to finish, all the details. Also about troubleshooting and correcting wobbles in laced wheels/softtail bikes. I've got a 2008 Harley Softail Crossbones (FLSTSB) and it's got a persistent wobble. I literally can't take both hands off the bars or it'll go into a tank slapper. The wobble is pretty low key while riding with both hands on the bars but if I take em off, it'll get nasty in about 5 seconds or less. I've heard wobbles can be caused by all kinds of things like out of true wheels, imbalanced wheels and front and rear wheels not being aligned properly but I'm not sure how to go about aligning my wheels. Anyways - love your vids!!

Excellent video! In all fairness that rear tire had at least another 500 miles on it. When I went from a Honda Shadow Phantom 750 to a Victory Vision, which is even bigger than a Challenger, I was terrified when I first rode it. After getting over the size and height difference the Vision handles even better than my Phantom. In fact it handles like a sport bike. When you get used to the differences of a full-sized cruiser you won't want to go back to a smaller bike.

It works. I’d recommend putting a block of wood under the front tire or rear to keep it from moving. It likes to pivot left or right when elevated because the crankcase isn’t flat.
