I love my Mazda 3 Sedan! It really does drive nothing like other cars. Its way more planted and feels more enjoyable to me! And the overall exterior and interior design is near perfection to me! They balanced everything so well for the price, it beats anything on the same range of price.

Agee completely, I bought a Mazda3 sedan, drove it back home in the HWY , got 37. 7 mpg at 78 mph, and it's really quick too when in sport mode , my wife is thrilled, mines in soul red and the positive feedback is just neverending. Great car, great price.

It's starting to become common on vehicles with "mild hybrid" drivetrains. For example, I know current generation BMWs and probably others in the luxury segment have been implementing drive modes like this. Depending on whatever calculations the car considers, you either coast with engine off, or you have a very very mild regenerative braking effect (for charging the 48v battery/motor)
