Hey, I have a rebuild idea. You can sign anyone you want, but you can't change the development plan from balanced. This might seem harsh as it would take longer to get the players to a high overall but their stats would be so balanced that it would be worth it at the end, this also makes you reconsider players because of weak foot or skill moves

iirc he started his youth career as a defender, but then was converted into a striker since Chinese money dissipates in the CSL, resulting in loads of foreign strikers leaving the team/league - since most high waged CSL foreign players were attackers - such as Ighalo, Arnautovic, Hulk, Oscar, Jackson Martinez, Bakambu, etc. So a lot of home grown players have to be converted into strikers/attacking minded players.

It might be baffling but the information is in line with Chinese players in Football Manager databases as well. It seems Chinese academies tend to experiment a lot with youngsters.

Cani I think it's amazing you wound up using Saito. I actually used him for a rebuild back in FIFA 20 and they actually removed him from the game later that year because he joined the 2nd Belgian League and he's by far the best striker I've ever used. one fun idea would be a reverse rebuild. you take a top flight team from whatever country and you try and get them to the bottom league, and then you try to get them champions league glory. say you have man city. you have to make that team bad through every season and when they get to league 2 then you try to get them to the ucl trophy

We got ourselfs a new trainer. We won 3 out of 4 games and survived. Now in this season we are going to qualify for the conference league! With saito on the team!

Great rebuild Cani, only thing I would point is that it would be kind of impossible irl. Following CSL rules, you could only field 4 non chinese players in the main team. The rest should be Chinese. GKs should forcefully be from China and a minimum of 2 or 3 u-23 players should be fielded as well. Nonetheless, I inderstand the contrictions from the database and it was a good rebuild.🤝🏻

As someone who lives in the AFC region - Australia - would be nice to see you take one of these teams to the AFC Champions League instead. You won't have the buying power of the English divisions, so you'll get content from a heap of new players that most will never use.
