I have to hold my hands up and say I did doubt you did the builds yourself in the channels early days. But I’m man enough to concede I was bang out of order and really respect what your doing, what you achieve and the obvious effect your having on thousands of people …hundreds of thousands ….maybe even more. You display acts of compassion & generosity that couldn’t fail to impress even the biggest of naysayers. Your dad must absolutely be as proud as any dad could be. Every build you do is worth it. Your particular situation is unique in that the cars you purchase, no matter what the state, create content. There is a protective short that occurs are many airbags when not properly connected. Just fixed one 2 weeks ago. This may help later in life. Cleaning up the connectors and reterminating it fixed the issue. Nice job on the BMW!

I think cars are mostly in these cases are written off because of the sheer amount of work hours that need to be put in. I am also shocked that basically the whole framing and engine work is less costly then a couple of sensors. I am curious if he sold it for decent money. I guess people tend to be hesitant spending that much on a car which was wrecked lol.

Mad respect for rebuilding it. I’d recommend getting ISTA if you plan on rebuilding bmws the software is very helpful. I’m rebuilding a bmw e90 and the electronics are killing me I keep getting code p1631 theft deterrent system 😂 such shit cars to work on. Good job 👏 M5 looking good.

Cracking job mate!! Not sure if youve heard of it before but for future reference 3M VHB tape is very strong for fitting trims, i used it on a bonnet lip once and the lip split in half after a crash rather than come off the bonnet😂
