I don't think a lot of people know that the laws are different from district or state for biting dogs. Your dog could bite and be euthanized. When a groomer makes it IMPOSSIBLE to bite and is making sure to not hurt that dog, that groomer is helping that dog. I always love how DeDe figures it out. Figures how to get the dog groomed. The dog is nervous and amped-up but then it's just faced with being finished and nothing is hurting. Dogs do learn and the more they have an experience that ISN'T painful the harder it is for them to hold onto the memory of a painful groom. Dog is under a year, and the pet parents are committing to come back in a month. Hopefully, they'll work with desensitizing the dog to the grooming process. Thanks for working with aggressive dogs DeDe!

These ladies are lovely owners. They understand that their dog has to have the groom done and made sure they found someone who could do it rather than let him go a long time and get in a real mess. It is so obvious that he has had one or several bad grooms but what a lovely wee dog he is.

I am sooo excited to see you back. I love how much love and passion you put into every fur baby you touch. I saw your post where you were selling everything. It looked like to me that someone was so cruel to you that they wanted you to close your business. I was crying with you. Just remember that you served our country because of the love that you had for others. God has been right beside you in everything you do. The person that wanted to see you close your business will never make it if she has a grooming business. God doesn’t stand by people the hurt others so they can destroy someone else. It’s a ray of sunshine to see that you are not going to let her win. I started watching your videos back in 2018 or 19 because I myself love animals and making them know that they are loved and given the respect that any living breathing thing deserves. I use to breed Persians in 1990.I only had one sire and two females. I wanted to provide people with beautiful Persian kittens that did not have the extreme Flat noses and we’re just beautiful and gentle and loving to have in their families. Which I was able to accomplish. I did shave my adults down every summer. Because they were indoor only and I felt like and knew that it would help their skin to breathe. I will be 62 years old in March of next year and now I just have one domestic cat but she does have Persian in her. Her name is Bella and I love her with all my heart. I have started shaving her down some because of all the hair and shedding. And of course you know how hot it gets in Texas. I used to live in North Carolina close to the mountains and the end of January of this year I finally had saved up enough money to move to Bay City Texas where my son and his wife and my grandbaby live.. My daughter and her husband and her new baby live in North Austin. Their little daughter was born at 30 weeks weighing 4 pounds. She is still in the NICU but she is doing amazing and hopefully will be home by Thanksgiving. I’m so happy to see you back on KZbin. And I so look forward to watching more of your video. I can promise you that God is always right beside you because of your love for him and your love for your country. I love you DEDe and I hope that you get back on your feet and continue to do the amazing precious work that you do. Love and prayers always. Ethel H. Vance

I'm always amazed. On how Dede is always able. To make that connection and change the dog's energy. With a few more visits he'll be good as gold. David is a master bather. His good skills/energy transmits to the dog during bath. The dogs feel comfortable. Custoner service is being funny. 🤣Luv Dede's reaction. 👍👍Good job as always!! Always look forward to seeing the face cut. End result with the face adorable. Brought out dog's cuteness.❤️🐕🐾

If the owners took 10 minutes a day with him and just the SOUND of clippers, and treats when he ignores it, eventually he'll get used to it, I reckon. Then just touching him with the vibrating end of an electric toothbrush, with treats, he's going to associate all that noise with good things.

Maybe pet owner find a good trainer or training school in your area they do wonders for nervous pups with high anxiety My Dixie was a nervous pup with high anxiety and didn’t like anyone besides family. I took her to a training school and trained with the trainer and used group classes to get her over it and now she’s perfectly fine. I never had problems with grooming I started her with the schools groomer as soon as she had finished her shots and she needs groomed every two months and I brush her every day and bathe once a week.
@catherinezenovich54833 жыл бұрын
I agree with the regular groom. Once you find a groomer that does a good job and treats your dog right, get into a regular routine. Then it becomes a familiar part of their life. I suspect wee Haze (super cute wee boy) will become fine to groom after regular painless and non-scary grooms.

There is an acupressure point on the tip of a dog's ears that has a calming relaxing effect on a dog Also why not do a larger gard in reverse to get the same length but without the back brushing? Might make it quicker and easier for you

I found a different groomer, never had another issue.
