I rebuilt and modified a old Volkswagen MK1 , a legendary car here in South Africa, I was lucky enough to find one in mint condition.. but things have changed.. the traffic/law are not happy with the car being static/low so it forced me to make changed to the car (no planned) in this video, I take you on a journey where I relocate from my hometown to Robertson. @@DailyDrivenSA The 20V Stroker is no joke it will definitely run 11 seconds on a 1/4 mile, check out Sarel 8V Performance previous 20V 2.2 Stroker but now he swapped it to a 1.8T, but I love the sounds of a N/A 20V I would even enjoy sounds coming from a 20V when he is beating me when racing The 20V N/A platform is ruthless it can make 160kw - 175kw & 230nm + and thats in jhb altitude sure it will make more power figures in CPT altitude and dynos

@@DailyDrivenSA 👊🥰 the 20V N/A is something special especially when running Efigas or ethenol mix that motors are pretty strongs and packs a punch even the 16V 2.0 FSi from the MK5 it's a good platform with Mods but that will run 12 seconds quarter mile with some decent mods

Fit the ABF much more better than the R32 . With the heavier motors its a problem with handling . Abf is super reliable. 2lt 8valve long block also excellent choice .
