Toilet paper over is actually the correct way to put on a toilet paper roll (according to the original patent). It's easier to grab cuz it doesn't disappear behind the roll (it's facing you) and also something about the way it touches the wall.

Reason for having toilet paper over is that under you will more than likely touch the wall. Over you will not touch the wall so it's cleaner. LOL though it was pretty funny you wonder what is wrong with people doing it that way. The build is very cute too, great decor. ♥

Have you ever seen the Carrie Diaries? It was Carrie as a teenager and her introduction to fashion and New York, It was canceled after 2 seasons I think, but it was so cute and Anna Sophia Robb was Carrie. Hey there Deli! This build was again fantastic! As a New Yorker you're right about the layout. Some have been converted to be two or three apartments, there are some in Brooklyn and Manhattan, but there are very few that remain intact as like a one family home with the original structuring. I live in a brownstone in the upper West side of Manhattan. The house was originally one big five floor house built in 1923. Over time, it got divided first into each floor a separate apartment, and now there are two apartments on each floor. they are not huge but it’s really beautiful here. :-)

When i play Sims 4, i tend to always use this apartment as a starter. So having more ideas for how to decorate the space is always a nice thing! Your comments about the toilet roll made me laugh. Growing up our toilet rolls always went under also, because that’s the way my mum always did it. I didn’t realise that over was a thing until I started working in housekeeping in a hotel and I had to do it over, and then fold the ends. 😂

Typing as I watch so this might be a lot and a bit all over the place haha XD Those big white bifold doors you choose first with the many parts pulled back always look so big and clunky to me I never use them. Id also have kept the bathroom the size it was when you first put it in so the flat entrance door was in the middles of the wall it was on, but thats just me personally. The entrance just seems to small and claustrophobic being on two tiles wide. I do love the walk in wardrobe though, thats a dream of mine!

idk y but I always naturally put my tp under without realizing it, then my sis complained about it so I put it over now. our toilet is "glitchy" so we have to use thin, scratchy toilet paper so it doesn't get clogged.
