I think the price on the link is really good and the price you got it for (from the comments) is exceptional. I have a little 36v lead acid scooter that I got for around $175 here in Thailand. I get around 25 km per charge and always drive at max speed which is 30 kmh. I've had it for 2 years and when I bought it I expected that the lead acid batteries would need replacing after 6 months and I intend to replace them with a lithium battery.........but I charge it up to 42v and don't let it dip below 36v before recharging and the batteries are still as good as new. My wife and I both use it several times each per day and our trips range from 300 metres to 4 km . We absolutely love it and I worked out that it already is paid for in fuel savings as opposed to using our already frugal petrol scooters. Plus, as you mentioned it is just great fun to ride. A heap more people say hello or nod or just smile. it feels great. Cheers from an Aussie in Thailand :) # we don't use it as much during the rainy season though, as all it's electronics aren't quite as sealed to water as your little beast.
