Tip for the Turkish civil war or almost any civil war, delete all divisions before and have some cavalry ready to spawn, I literally played ottomans a couple hours ago and the ai only get a single division out. Also as turkey use any of the six arrows that give manpower. Also do the Damascus diktat while France is being invaded by germany

I will also note, with historical AI, the Soviets will always back down, and with non-historical AI, they only have a 15% chance of actually going to war, and an 85% chance of backing down. Furthermore, you don't have to empower fundamentalists at all to restore the Ottoman empire. all you have to do is elect the Demokrat Parti, and when in the civil war, invite the Ottoman loyalists back

When I look at the focus tree it says "looking outwards" instead of it saying "Purge the officers", I've only seen it once or twice but I was using the endsieg mod. Also, whenever I Do "looking outwards", it never ignited a civil war.

I was so astonished that you got gallopolied by the Australians that I shall provide you these Bits of Advice for the Ottoman Empire You don't need to empower the Fundamentalists or Crush the Kermalists really, it's a system that's kind of useless except for the tiniest min-maxing. Additionally, you should REALLY be prioritizing Stability and then using the Fidelity Arrow since that gives you weekly manpower I believe. Additionally, you can use the Greece War to raise your conscription and economic laws in order to save you a lot of pain. Plus you want to do Damascus Diktat or whatever it is when it's Vichy because I believe there is a higher chance of them ceding it. Probably.

The Restoration of the Ottoman Empire is my second most played HOI4 nation and strategy, only behind restoring the Byzantine Empire. Whenever I'm in the mood for a fairly relaxing HOI4 game, I'll just restore the Ottoman Empire, as it's a fairly chill and relaxed game, you have a decent industry to start, can easily build up stronger, and you start with most of the resources you'll need. Also, if played correctly, you can get Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan as puppets

@@fusionvolt4728 you have to do expand the Saddabad Pact Focus before doing either Damascus Distrikt or reclaim the empire, because them joining the faction takes a few days, and the Focus where you get them as puppets immediately bypasses if you don't expand the pact first, because the game thinks none of them joined the faction

Actually Turkish is not the same with Arabic.The thing is you got the Ottoman Empire back and due to the fact that Ottoman Language was a mixture between 3 Languages(Turkish,Arabic,Persian) you get to see some stuff similar to Arabic.But that is not the case today and of course there are still words from Arabic and Persian but we are not arabs nor persians and we dont speak like them and our culture is not like theirs.

Ottoman turkish was not a mixture between three languages(Arabic, Persian and Turkish) but certainly it did have more Arabic and Persian loanwords than modern Turkish in addition to using a modified version of the Arabic script much like Farsi.

You need 350 pp when civil war starts so you can get extensive conscription and war economy that is crucial 😄 always naval invade greece and yugoslavia otherwise mountains and forts make your game miserable.Don’t attack romania before ww2 starts and improve relations with france before damascus diktat.Playing with Ottoman Empire is tiring before 1941.I got hardly anything sevres that was so tiring.Send your ships to Germany and you need to naval invade from there.
