My new years resolution was to end the year without a pile of shame, so far it consists of 12 units, all build, some primed and some grey. i used to think that was already quite a bit.......now i have seen the mountain ranges over the horizon and realize how lucky i am that i am taking care of this now.

My goodness I got featured twice! The desk has cleaned up a bit since the stream. And to answer questions, my legs do not go under the desk, I sit away from the desk so I can move about with ease. The soda can was placed there by my daughter that morning, I didn't see it until later. The painting area has increased to about 8" square, and the waifus remain in their location. Thank you for showing off my mess. It motivates me to clean the desk up and keep it clean. I will show an updated pic at some point. In regards to my misc figure, I am planning on 3D printing the Warmonger Titan this year, along with a Warhound, Reaver, Warbringer, Warlord, Revenant, and Phantom Titans. The toes of the Warhound are already printed. They will stand on the misc figure shelf until they are all finished.

Thank you Paul. You couldn’t have done a better job! I hope you make more of these stream highlights and continue to refine them in the future! Although, just two minor corrections I want to point out. First, the second Leviathan box isn't actually mine, it's just my friends Bits-Box that he lets me store at my place in exchange to free access to the contents since he doesn't use his spare bits much. Second, the Ledger of Self-Loathing isnt my "Entire Collection", its just my entire backlog. It doesn't count the models I have already painted, and when I do finish painting something, it gets removed from the Ledger. They're super minor things, but I thought I'd point them out here.

I hate to admit but my Pile of shame is currently at 4 combat patrols, 30 minis from Tyranids and orks, and 1 Chaos Abominant. That being said, seeing some other Piles of Shame make me feel better about mine since I could conceivably finish mine.

Bro I recently saw someone do this on reddit. In the comments someone pointed out that he had somehow managed to spend thousands of dollars on a basically unfunctional list if he ever tried to put something coherent on the tabletop. And the guy admitted in the end (after some back and forth) that he just posted to flex and had no plan to keep the army or even build / paint most of it...

I don't paint, only kitbash/sculpt and such. So my "pile of shame" is unfinished sculpts/kitbashes. Honestly, it's insane how people can have such a heavy backlog of unopened boxes. Not even *built*. Its one thing to not have them all painted. But you have a GW Shelf of unopened minis...?

I'm not as bad as most people in this video, but there is some logic to it. Personally I prefer doing it all in one go, building then painting a set, I find this better than having multiple in progress projects for keeping me focused. Keeping them in the boxes is also an easy way to keep things organised, and if I have a change of heart before I get around to it, I can sell them more easily if they are new.

"Dendrobium is a High Grade? It's huge" Dendrobium is basically a Dreadknight. Gundam has a few vehicles for mobile suits, and they're... understandably large. Actually theres pretty much a Dreadknight, called a Neo-Zeong. It used to be a huge MS, but then some mad lad turned it into mobile suit for a mobile suit.

I paint and build in my armchair with a headlamp in otherwise absolute darkness because before having children we thought no doors was cool. Somehow it works, no spilled paint on the armchair (yet). The bad thing about this video is that now I know I could spend 1.000€ in Warhammer and still be in much better shape than a lot of people featured in this video, so sure that buying 3 of these Soulblight army boxes can't be that bad.

I feel pretty good about my pile of shame. I try not to overextend on any one project. My sisters pile is a little large, but that’s part of a “get to 2000 points” push. My Emperor’s Children pile has a helbrute and daemon prince, both with substantial basecoat progress. And then I’ve got 10 dire avengers and 20 howling banshees. (I’ve almost finished 5 of the Dire Avengers). Enough there that I can hop between my three main army projects for variety, but none of them present an insurmountable workload. The EC box is gonna be a problem though when it drops. >.>

My current pile of shame is 10 desolation marines, 10 stern guard, 10 death company marines, 5 intercessors, 5 heavy intercessors, 1 land raider, 1 death company dread, 1 Repulsor, 1 drop pod, 1 scouts, 10 hell blasters, 10 infernus marines, 5 scours, 1 phobo lt, captain and librarian, 3 blood angels captains, 20 Assault Intercessors, 1 librarian. And .. that's it.

That's a Chaos combat patrol, The Imperial Agents Ordo Hereticus boxset, start collecting Ad Mech, MK 3 HH marines, and MK 6 HH Command squad. SM Company heroes, Chaplain on Bike, Phobos strike force and an invictor suit. Compared to some of you guys, I feel like I have a light load
