One of the best sports watches available. It doesn’t photograph well but seeing it in person is surprising. The quality of the case and finishing, plus the deep olive dial is stunning.

Glad to hear from others who feel the same. And I totally agree - this is one of those watches that is hard to accurately describe with words, photographs and videos. There is something quite special about how it wears and feels.

I have owned an Archimede Outdoor 39 since 6 years. Still looks like new (hardened steel and bracelet). Best quality! Also: inhouse case and bracelet production and inhouse watch assembly.

Thank you for the video and review. I really like this watch, and I've been thinking about buying it for some time. The only thing that doesn't convince me and keeps me from pulling the trigger is the movement. I think the finish is Standard and for 1000 euros, I expected at least an Elaboré grade. For me, it puts it at a disadvantage compared to other watches in the same range, such as the Circula ProFlight.

Thanks for watching! I'm not actually sure what grade of Sellita SW200-1 Archimede is using on this watch. Do you have confirmation that Archimede is using a Standard grade on this watch? Because this particular unit has been keeping time more in line with an Elabore grade variant.

@@BeansAndBezels Yes, I have confirmation of Arquimede Watches. In my opinion, It's more a problem of the quality of some components, rather than precision. Anyway, I am determined to buy this model. Now I just need to decide between 39 or 41 on my 18cm wrist.

Why does this watch not have drilled lugs? That is my biggest gripe with it.

As much as I like drilled lugs, in my opinion it doesn't add a lot of value to have drilled lugs on a hooded lug design watch with a pretty limited set of strap options.
