My son met Jim Cummings (voice of Pooh and Tigger) and he was super tired and crying so Jim talked to him calmly like Pooh to help him calm down and feel safe. Both my son and daughter now adore Pooh Bear. They say don't meet your heros...but Jim helped my 18 month old feel safe enough to be able to fall asleep and it was a beautiful moment that I will treasure forever. ❤

First of all..bucket throw...perfection!! I love how gentle you were with the rug. Once you pinned it up, I could see how easily it could have been for it to come completely undone. At first I was thinking to donate it to my local library, but looking at it while you were cleaning, I think a nook in a toddler classroom would be better. If they have a Math nook, maybe there. If not, then possibly the place they hold their daily circle time. Obviously, up to the teacher in the room, but as a previous pre-school teacher, that's where I pictured this rug. Beautifully done as always James. Have a great weekend.

As a preschool teacher, 100% this needs to go to a school or library. They don't make fun, educational rugs like this anymore, and I know any preschool would adore having this for their math/numeracy centre!

I love this having the back remove really helps understand the whole rug clean processes, like dirt gets trapped between the top and bottom of the rug, and then on top of it(heh), the top and bottom are dirty themselves. I'm just happy you were able to repair it. I'd like to win, long time suber but I do love all the videos, timelapse and long form.

This is the only rug cleaning channel I can watch. I always look forward to your videos, which is rare for most of the channels I sub to. They’re just filler to watch and waste my time but I really enjoy watching James’ videos. I am a crafter of hand-hooked rugs and beg you not to apply glue to this rug. It is not necessary, especially because it has held up to the power washing that you’ve given it. The tension of the loops next to each other is sufficient to hold all of the loops in place. Find someone who hooks rugs to replace the binding by hand and the rug will give many more years of service, if it’s cleaned regularly. We clean our wool rugs with fresh snow and a broom, but we don’t let them get this dirty, ha. Thank you for rescuing this gem!

Interesting! The technique you're using to stretch out the rug is called blocking, btw, it's also a way to finish needlework instead of ironing!

This is an amazing rug! I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and it touches my heart. I loved Pooh, but Eeyore was my favorite as I got older. His struggle with "depression" and the support from his friends was beautiful. I'd love to win this for my nephews. They are young but I can already see them struggling as well. ❤
