The thing with Thrumming Stone is any time you play a spell you may reveal the top four cards of your deck and, if you hit something with the same name, play it (or them if you're very lucky) for free. Normally useless in EDH, but with a handful of decks it becomes hilarious. In this case, he cast Persistent Petitioners (one of a handful of cards that allows any number of itself in the deck), and revealed the top 4. Any free Petitioners he plays off this perpetuates the cycle

"There is a certain charm to taking a bag of trash and throwing it across the table" Is so true it reminds me of my $30 The Valeyard deck i made for JEDH (every card is under a dollar) Where i either do rigged voting shinanigans or Artifact creature shinanigans as the doctor who set had good artifact creature support with the daleks and cybermen But the true trash of this deck is i found out that rhystic study released with a bunch of other "rhystic" cards with similar (much worse) mechanics And so they are all in the deck My favourites being "rhystic cave" A land that taps for any colour unless an opponent pays the one and then just taps for colourless "Rhystic deluge" pay 1 blue to tap an opponents creature unless they pay the 1 And "rhystic tutor" search your library for any card unless your opponent pays 2
