I rode the FL AIDS Ride 2 and the subsequent Red Ribbon Ride 1 & 2 (in FL) ... three years in a row. I also worked as Outreach Staff on FL AIDS Ride 1 & 2.... These adventures are some of the highlights of my life.... INCLUDING all the training rides and community building we did in Orlando in advance. I traveled to San Fran in June 2000 and volunteered on Day Zero for the predecessor to ALC known California AIDS Ride 7.... I saw SO many of my FL riders and crew that did CAR7 that year..... HAVE A GREAT TIME Kyle !!!!!!!!!

You inspire me to stop drinking and smoking and get a strong body like you. Loved your sisters wedding.. A love like that is rare and I was so happy for them but was a little jealous (in a good way) I’ve given up on love but just had a hysterectomy and as I recover I want to get healthier and stronger as my body will now allow me too. Plus the iron infusions are helping ✌🏼

I grew up feeling so immensely isolated from having a parent with HIV. I felt like nobody would ever understand. The fact that 2,500 people participated in this HIV/AIDS cross-country bicycle excursion generates wholesomeness and admiration. That is such a difficult thing to accomplish and you never gave up. My dad hasn't given up either. He's had HIV since 2001. Time is growing short. Thank you for this

Thank you so much for sharing such exciting long journey! I wish I could help to the foundation. I'm from Venezuela and my bestfriend has AIDS, a couple of years ago I was so extremely worried for him because of the fact that he looked bad and unhealthy, he was grabbing life as much as he could. But now, thank to God he's much more healthy and fortunately a little more fit. Thank you once again! Hugs from Venezuela! Love you!

Loved this video Kyle.....I've always thought about doing this ride but didnt think I could do it at 65 yrs old. Lost my partner of 15 yrs who was Poz but under control back in '08. I have a beach cruising bike but would have to get a lighter weight bike to do this....plus lose more weight while getting into shape....might check to see if 24hr fitness might be doing a team like they do for the spartan races.....miss seeing you and Gus around WeHo.....hugs

Kyle, congrats on all your achievements and new home. I'm a 70 year old gay male and still negative. I was in NYC in 1982 when the AIDS epidemic flourished. I knew many men who lost their lives to AIDS not long afterwards. In 1988 I move to LA and took an apartment on Spring St. It was great during the day, but very dangerous during night time, but downtown LA had just recently begun restoration. I soon met many gay men and my social and professional life flourished. However, once again many were dying from AIDS. It became very depressing. A few years later I moved on to San Francisco, and eventually I left the country. My whole past in friends were all dead or dying. I lived in Germany, and later Korea. I met a young man half my age and we became a couple. He is 40 now and owns his own company. He has no real comprehension of what I witnessed before him and I'm glad he never will. Thanks again and best to you and yours. Jim
