Morning Coffee with TDubs! Awesome Video, beautiful "Ford" camp area, that's why they built that cabin there. I have noticed a lot more people living out off the grid in the past year while riding. I could spend the rest of my days poking around my state of Arizona. There so much too see out there, so little time? Thanks for bringing a part of your world to us.

wooo! morning coffee, for sure, that spot was interesting. yeah I keep vehicles dumped all over, I wonder if they want to live there then reality sets in and they give up?? yeah it's crazy the amount of places there are to explore. the more popular places are cool but I like finding my own adventure too. no problem, thanks for joinging

Thanks for the great videos - and thanks for the occasional praise to the Lord! I just put digital tach and temp gauge on my TW, and I really love it. I think you should install and review (I have NO affiliation, but I think its great). I mounted it (with the included velcro) on the signal/highbeam/neutral pod just above the three lights. As an added bonus, I glance at my RPM regularly, and I notice when I forgot to turn off my turn-signal! During install you have to program your engine type - for some reason the factory default of 1-cylinder, 2-stroke works properly (even though TW is a 4 stroke, that setting doubles the RPM, but whatever). You can set alarms, so I set the RPM alarm at 8250RPM and the Temp alarm at 375F. Anyway, I have NO affiliation, but I love it and think you and your viewers would love it to. Its the Runleader Digital Tach/Hour Meter,Engine Temperature Gauge and I got it at Amazon for less than $30. Peace Out. In Christ. (I posted yesterday, hopefully you didn't delete me because I violated some rule on posting links...I have no affiliation, I just want to share what I think is a great deal on a cool gauge.) www.amazon.com/Runleader-Temperature-Backlights-Compressor-Snowmobile/dp/B092CDSQ33/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Runleader+Digital+Tach%2FHour+Meter%2CEngine+Temperature+Gauge&qid=1633406702&s=industrial&sr=1-3

@@collinmc90 My buddy goes around to the abandoned ones, rips out the generators if they are still in there, and then sells them for $500 to $1000 a pop. He loves working on 'em. We just found one that must have had dogs locked in it for months on end. About six inches of dog poop throughout. We got as far as poking our heads in and got out of there. Smell was unbelievable!

Hey TDub. You are one heck of a pilot. I see you do lots of out of site FPV. Pretty brave some of your shots. Amazing videographer you are. @@TDubsKid Thanks for the reply back. Glad you appreciate your parents, so many don’t. They obviously had a good heart in you and your brother to work with. On a side note, as I said, I am from the west coast of British Columbia. A couple nights ago, I was finishing some last minute things, like gas at a gas station to go on a mountain trip and a guy pulled in with fancy truck with fancy wrap and KZbin logo on the side. He was pulling a camping trailer, a nice bike in the back and a bunch of gear. He too was heading out on a ride, a couple hundred miles away. Of course we got talking bikes, trails and dual sports. I asked what he did and he said he was a KZbinr from North Vancouver. His channel is called, Wadz Adventures. He said, “have you ever looked up TDubskid? “ So ur famous up here too lol.

I used to live in Fairplay, Silverthorne, and Canon City. This ride brings back some memories. The Salida/ Buena Vista area is amazing. Taylor reservoir is another must see area. You're losing power because of the altitude and your engine isn't getting enough air.

You don't need a cargo van. I bought a harbor freight trailer and turned it into a toy hauler type camping trailer with ambulance style rear doors. I can carry my tw200 and ebike in the back with enough room to sleep. The entire build cost $2000 including the trailer. I did the walls with 1/4" plywood and sheet metal roof and.5" square tubing for the ribs /wall support and 3/4" floor. I got two sliding Windows with bug screens from Amazon and a flexible 175w solar panel and a 518wh electric power bank. I also got a ebay fake espar copy diesel heater. It can sleep 3, or one and a bike. It's lightweight and I tow with my 4runner and prius

I recently got a ford E-350 for basically free. going to do a camper conversion on it and will have the TW200 on a hitch carrier. I like having a van because it's easier to park and you can go right from the driver's seat to bed haha, also nice in case something is going on in the middle of the night you can drive away without exiting the vehicle. your trailer sounds really cool though!
@harryfritter8266
@harryfritter8266 2 жыл бұрын
@@TDubsKid Hopefully your van turns out really nice. I made three of the harbor freight trailers. The first one I took to Moab and a guy offered me $8000 for it the day I got there. That one didn't have solar or heater. The second one I sold for $7500 the day I finished it, just driving it to Denver. The one I have now, I have only had about 2 months and taking it to wichee wachee Florida in a couple days

It's ironic how a Dude gets a 4000 dollar TW200 and a few hundred in equipment can ride dual sports so much more with bigger adventures than 95% of people that buy bigger and more serious 10k (or more) adventure bikes .And he has a pet dinosaur. I think a hybrid TW would be cool. A hub motor on the front wheel for a little 2WD assist in the tough spots and when you need a little more go. Keep the battery small, not too much size or weight. Plug-in and regen braking charge. A little silent running capacity but not for miles of electric mode.

If you're getting what you think is appendix pain, try wearing a kidney belt. Riding off road seems to hurt the kidneys for some reason. Take it from an old timer... Just found your channel I'm liking these videos thank you!

Was involved in the design and development of that Watercell X. Can confirm you can run it over with a Jeep :) The fabric makes it pretty abrasion resistant too. I only got it to break after throwing it from about the height of a two-story building onto its cap, full. Love your vids xo

Been following you for a while. Really enjoy your videos. Fun and beautiful photography. I’ve been a commercial pilot for 35 years and have recently got into drones. Your skills at the controls are second to non. My nephew and I rode the TAT this summer from the beach in NC to the beach in Oregon. We rode over Marshall, Cordova, cinnamon and imogene passes. Camped 5 nights in Colorado. Watching you ride into Salida brought back memories of a trip of a lifetime. Keep the videos coming

@@TDubsKid You as well. FYI I’m buying a TW when my local shop gets one back in. I have a small farm in eastern NC. Thought it would be a fun bike around the farm and to run the 18 miles into town to grab small things when needed. Ride the TAT you won’t regret it. If you do hit me up. Depending on who’s maps you use the trail comes within 9 miles of my farm. We have a separate guest house and plenty of space for camping. Thinking of advertising it on the forum.

Also, Wes: have you considered a trip to the area between Crested Butte and Aspen? I think you might get some great footage there! You might have to set up a mid elevation base camp and do some hiking there, However, it should be a lot of fun and you might even find a hot spring or two!
