I RUINED My Corvette C6 ZR1..

It's time to face the consequences of my actions... My Corvette ZR1 project sat outside for over a YEAR while waiting on a new engine.. Sun, snow, ice, it saw EVERYTHING and it shows...
The paint is HORRIBLE, the trim is faded, it's truly the worst condition C6 Corvette ZR1 I've ever seen, but I'm hopeful that with the right products and help I can get it back into a less embarrassing state before we get it running for the summer!

I felt that in my BONES. I was in detail for a long time and it was my zen and peace to enjoy cleaning a car. I had salesmen and random people to try and interupt me and i just gave them the death stare and a few touched the cars i was working on...i was ready to explode 🤣

I used the Avalon king ceramic coating summer before last. It’s still hydrophobic, but I’m planning to top it up this year. I only used about 2/3 of the bottle to do the whole of my Subaru Impreza

I use AvolanKing and that one bottle is way more than enough to do that Vette almost twice. Good shit!! And yes it’s makes your trim mirrors window etc like brand freeking new!!

If you want, your engine bay to look like brand new without any greasy mess get the Maguires hyper dressing is unbelievable I use it on my 2013 Corvette. You just spray it on lightly close the hood the following day it will be all cured. 👍 well worth the money.

You probably have high spots all over. You don’t want to lift the applicator when applying ceramic. Pull the car in the shade and you’ll know if you have high spots you can’t see them in direct sunlight

You can take some 2000 grit sand paper and soak it in a little bit of soapy water. Lightly sand the scratches then buff it out
