Blue Diamond took over the zoo after Pink's "death". Pink set it up because building kindergartens uses up a planet's resources and ruins its ability to support life. She built it to save at least some Earth life, but then realized even that wouldn't go far enough...

the markup + it selling out is totally insane, i remember between when they first released and early 2020, i bought a few boxes and managed to score some rlly great stuff from them (including a rebecca sketch card!), and i always had the site i was buying it from in the back of my mind just in case i wanted more, but now…forget abt it 😭 also a shame they probs cant/won’t reprint these since the printing plates were included as special pulls lmao

I recently got into SU and I saw the first video you made on these. I really wanted to get my hands on some boxes but they were all sold out. I can't really afford to drop a few hundred on a box that may have been tampered with. I did find one listing for 100 USD on this super sketchy site but after some googling, I decided not to risk it. Maybe someday they will bring these back or maybe I can find em online for specific cards I like. So I just kinda gave up. I have been wanting to learn art recently and managed to get my hands on the Steven Universe Art Books. Im wanting to study em and learn how to draw the characters I love ahah.

Honestly I think the only people buying them are either major SU fans or people who really want the rare art cards and signatures. Hell when I saw the first video I thought about buying it for that reason. Specially since I'm an artist and love art work. I have two prints/mini prints from two people who did the mlp comics and its still neat to look at. So the demand going up makes sense, but to that amount is a bit insane. That's about the price of a Base Gen 1 Pokemon booster box, depending since Pokemon booster boxes are constantly changing in price. A single pack is "usually" $300, but again varies. I kind of wish mlp trading cards got this amount of attention. They had their special cards and all, but they never got art cards or signed cards in packs which would have been cool. Hell more cartoon based trading cards should do stuff like this.

Have been a huge fan of this show since the very first day here in Australia. Personally didn’t know these cards existed till I found your video last year. Ended up getting 3x boxes over a few months that cost over $400 per box from cryptozoic. Honestly best money spent. Ended up pulling an Emerald, Barb and Onion Zach Callison card and cried in happiness all that afternoon. So if anything a HUGE thankyou for bringing awareness around these ❤ Wish I lived in the USA and didn’t have to pay crypto $200 or $80-$100 shipping for a card on eBay tho. Those prices are crazzyyyyy

The sketch cards looked super familiar and I finally realized that I saw them on Quidd years ago!! Quidd was a digital collector app and one of the things you could collect was Steven Universe sketch series cards done by artists on the show. I always wondered where the art was for and now I know. It's super cool to know that art is out there somewhere!!

If there was any sequel to Steven Universe I would want it to be: "Lars in the Stars" a show about Lars and the off colors going through space and getting into wacky adventures while also going through their own trauma! More trauma! And as a season finale you would learn that, although Lars and everyone else looks the same as they did from Future, it's actually been 20 years and Lars has to tackle the reality that he might live forever.
