The first song I heard from Mean Girls was I'd Rather Be Me. I haven't had any friends for the last year because I distanced myself from the people around me that constantly walked all over me and manipulated me. The first time I heard the song I cried. "And if I eat alone from this moment on that's just what I'll do" really hit me. I felt so much less alone after hearing it. Theatre saves lives and I'm grateful for it every day. (giveaway)

I saw Mean Girls in NYC like a month before you and, lemme say, I’m so with you on Kate Rockwell. Her comedic timing and singing chops blew me away! I saw this show two nights ago and it was really good! Unfortunately Barrett Wilbert Weed and Ashley Park were not there that night :( Janis was played by Tee Boyich (who was still really good!) and Gretchin was played by Zurin Villanueva (who was okay). I agree Kate Rockwell was fantastic and I think she kind of stole the show for me with her hilariousness. The music, perfomances, set, and effects were all great but I thought the story felt a little rushed.

When I went, Ashley De La Rosa played Gretchen, and she did FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!! When I saw Barrett (because she is literally a god lol) I started sobbing. SOBBING!!!!!!! The show was amazing, and it was honestly the best day of my life. The inappropriate parts made me die (I’ll give you some if you want, just reply to this comment 😂) Here’s the one thing that messed me up. While Taylor was singing World Burn, on the first highest “mean” that she belted, her belt became strained, and then her voice cracked right after, and it made her cut off the note short. I’m one of the only people that noticed. She still did amazing, and recovered at the final “mean” of the song. These people are so underrated!!!!!! *ALSO I GOT TO MEET GREY, TWO ENSEMBLE MEMBERS (COLLINS AND NIKHIL) AND ERIKA AND KATE!!!! AND THEY SIGNED MY PLAYBILL!!!!!!!*

I went to see Mean Girls and Waitress with my Drama School. It was so good! They chose the actors/actresses so well. Taylor was definitely a good Regina especially went telling her mom to leave. I didn't even realize that Barret played Janice until my roommate started playing I'd rather be me since that was the only song that was out at the time. We did workshops with the ensemble members. My honest review was that the songs and cast *(OMG Barret Wilbert Weed)* were amazing, but the musical as a whole wasn't as good as I expected, but it was worth it. It was very funny. Maybe I didn't like it so much also because the seats were too close to each other, therefore rather uncomfortable, the theater was very small and the view wasn't very well made (No matter what category you were except the first row mezzazine there were always heads blocking your view partially). Also, I'm more fond of emotional epic musicals.

I loved the show when I saw it!!! My favorite stage door experiences were: Telling Kerry how much she inspires me, and her saying that was really sweet Telling Grey that I relate to Damien's OTT Theater attitude, his breaking out into song, etc., and him literally telling me that I should play the role. Telling Kate that I think Karen is my spirit animal based on the way she played her, and her telling me: "She's definitely someone's spirit animal. Maybe a squirrel!"

I’m FINALLY seeing Mean Girls this October!!!! How it all started was my Grandma Pam was asking me about what I wanted to do for my birthday, I either brought it up or she did the idea of seeing a show, and I brought up the idea of Orpheum Theatre (although really expensive). I’ve been a fan of the Orpheum Theatre for a long time, I know they produce phenomenal shows on tour. Once I knew that mean Girls was part of the 2019-2020 season, I was like I really wanted to see this show. So, instead of getting gifts for my birthday this year....we’re seeing Mean Girls. Not only do I get to go to Mean Girls with my grandma & her friend....my bff Taylor gets to come with:) At first, Taylor & I we’re gonna come up with a way to pay for her ticket together, but her mom finally gave in and will be paying for tickets:)!!!! So, I can’t wait until October 6th, 2019 @1:00 P.M., at the Orpheum Theatre, here in Minneapolis, Minnesota and of course I’ll be wearing pink 💕💕💕

My favorite song from Mean Girls would have to be Someone Gets Hurt (Reprise) because it symbolizes Cady breaking off from the people who were her friends due to her venture into popularity. It shows that Cady has truly changed as a person (arguably for the worst) from the beginning of the show. Also, when Barrett says “buddy, it’s not pretend” is amazing. (Giveaway!)

When I first heard about Mean Girls the Musical, I was obsessed with Heathers. It was when Mean Girls was being rumored to go to Broadway,and I remember my first reaction being, “How come Mean Girls gets to go to Broadway and not Heathers?” Regardless, I decided to look into it and even followed them on Instagram. When I saw the cast and all the people behind the show and that Tina Fey herself was part of it, I got so excited! I couldn’t believe I had been so mad instead of proud my favorite childhood movie was an actual musical. After that I became a hardcore fan, having been there when they first released the iconic Plastic video saying “First of all, I really like your hair color” The Mean Girls soundtrack has been all I can listen to since it was released. I’ve wasted money on merchandise, investing in pink clothing which I had previously had a total of one pink tank top. It’s literally my favorite show and I’m so happy it found me 💗🎀 (giveaway)

I totally agree, Kate Rockwell is the hidden star of the show. The first time I heard Sexy I could not stop laughing. It is probably the best song in the show(I give you sexy corn🌽🌽🌽🌽😂😂).

You're really nice, and recently I found you so now I know that my friends and I are not alone in this theatre crazed obsession life. Sadly, one of my theatre friends committed suicide in October earlier this year, and its been tough on the performing arts kids at our school this year. In our grief, we didn't even realize the amount of support we received from the theatre world from people like josh groban, Rachel bay Jones, and Ben platt, who even tweeted about it. Our friend was prince Eric in our school musical, and "if only" he were alive today, he would be overwhelmed by the amount of support from people like you, and the other theatre kids. I saw the show last night and I was absolutely blown away. I actually disliked the show before watching it live, based off of my impression of the cast recording and their Tony performance. To my surprise, I was beyond impressed by the quality of the story, cast members, costumes, sets, etc. To begin with, I heard some of the most stunning voices I've ever heard in my entire life in that show. The power and grit absolutely envelops you, and I didn't even realize some of the notes sung were possible to hit. Erika as Cady was such a breath of fresh air compared to the Lindsay Lohan interpretation. She was so innocent and genuine, and I felt that her character arc was much more touching and real. Barrett and Gray as Janis and Damien had chemistry that I could never even DREAM of! They were absolutely perfect together and worked off of each other so incredibly well. And Barrett as an individual? I am absolutely enamored with that woman. From the second she left the stage, she has not left my mind. I still can't stop thinking about how unreal it was to even be in the same room as her, let alone watch her perform live. Janis was the most perfect role for her, and the character in general was unbelievably empowering and unique. Ashley Park as Gretchen!!! My heart ached for her! She played such a sweet, moving Gretchen and I felt so much for her. Her performance made me fall in love with that character, and everything about her performance was so intricate, unique, and special. Like you said, you can tell she put in the work for that role and I'd love to see her perform in another show just to see how she adapts to different roles. Taylor Louderman was impeccable as well. Her vocals were UNREAL, and her character evolved very nicely. Kate Rockwell was absolutely adorable and such a bright presence in every scene. I also adored Kyle Selig, who played Aaron Samuels! He had a beautiful, smooth voice that beautifully matched his charming personality! I also loved all of the technical elements, such as the costumes, sets, and the lighting! There are millions of other great things I loved about the show, as well as some critical elements that I'm sure you don't have time to read but I loved this video! I value your opinion a ton and I was pleased to see that we agreed on many things. Thank you for always posting such incredible content!! [giveaway]
