This band is underated af, if this song would release nowadays, it would be in every reaction channel. Too many breakdowns and changes makes this song a very diverse and heavy experience, plus the synths and electro sound and EDM influence makes it a very bouncy and catchy song. We need this band back.

I remember when I got with my first girlfriend she turned me into my “phase” started listening to all her music and dyed my hair the same colours because I liked her so much. I remember one day just going to visit an old teacher with her and she saw me change the song on my iPod to this. She got so happy and excited. She smiled so big and hopped in her seat a bit. She passed away in 2014 and my brain had tried so hard to forget her. I always find myself getting these songs stuck in my head so many years later.

I'm 30 and was listening to all the bands in this scene back in early 2010s like TDWP, and AA!, etc...and I've always overlooked this band for some reason. I never gave them a shot. This song came on my playlist randomly and I saw it was from 2013 and it blew me away and I'm so mad at my younger self for not jamming this back then. Straight goosebump inducing!!!

Low-key that's why Treehouse is my favourite album of ISS's. The transitions between bridges and choruses and verses in New Demons and Digital Renegade just feel terrible compared to the flow of the music off Treehouse. I mean, Mobbin' Out honestly has one of the best progressions I've ever heard in any song ever. The last build and ending riff are so masterfully done...

Why is it that when a lot of girls like a band that it means the band isn't good and that guys can't like it because it's girly music. It's music.. Music is suppose to bring peace.. Also for those saying "I have s right to my opinion." Yes you do in some ways.. Be yourself as long as you're not negatively impacting others. In the case of "this band sucks!" "Their music is gay, only girls like them." Thats negativity, keep it to yourself, not everything needs to be shared.
@ricky36989 жыл бұрын
A lot of the times it's not about whether they are gay or not. Any guys that know music know that the normal big boy bands today are garbage who just cash in on teenage girl's low self esteems. And there is usually no talent all around in those groups. Yet they go around acting like everyone should worship the ground they walk one. Those are the people I hate.

havoren I respect your opinion, but I liked Digital Renegade a lot as well as End Of The World Party
@MitchellDee1710 жыл бұрын
havoren I agree but thanks to New Demon's release it has a lot of catchy, electronic type metalcore songs. They stepped up their game with it. My favorite track on it is the one I mentioned of wanting a music video for it. It's pretty heavy and I love it's lyrics. The End Of The World Party was good too but it had A LOT of love songs in it and needed more diversity in lyrics. New Demons is diversified lyrically and it did what 3D failed to do; which was an electronic sound pretty prevalent in the album.
@MitchellDee1710 жыл бұрын
havoren Haha, I agree, and those are really good songs. I think some don't like it cuz they furthered from the plain sound of 3D and Digital Renegade. That's at least what I have seen. New Demons was amazing though, damn good ISS record with good production sound & quality. ISS doesn't disappoint
@KSE82810 жыл бұрын
havoren Haha that's weird, "Who am I" is actually my least favorite song. It's most likely due to the fact that I think it's the worst possible song they could've chosen to end the album with. A lame fade-out is not something I expected after listening to that masterpiece, frankly.

I sense a little Renob, Nevada... the system meltdown part was definitely "inspired" by Enter Shikari though.

I saw I See Stars in small side room to a bar in Fort Wayne, IN, back in like 2011. It was the first time I'd ever heard of them, and that tiny room was packed shoulder-to-shoulder. They didn't have the fame or reputation they do now, they didn't give a fuck. That place got gnarly as fuck. And it's probably my best memory from high school.
