When Flats play Genji it looks like he reduces enemies IQ like wtf is this 2:04 There's a Genji in FRONT of the enemy spawn with 3 or 4 enemies there and they just ignore it, including Sojourn who just thought he disappeared behind the car i'd be dead in the first 70 milisseconds of this play why i don't get these on my lobbies

Genji just seems weird, i end up just getting way more elims etc just playing him more effective without the ult and just being frontline peeling. Just so poor range on the blade and ghostblade swings and everyone and their mother has mobility and counterplay to it.

You can use the ult to create space and distract the enemies if you're not good with it, just dash then pop your blade, jump and you will see everyone panicking infront of you without you even doing a thing, its pretty funny

I don’t ever play comp, I mainly do casual role queue and sometimes open when I’m feeling silly but Genji is SUCH a blast when I can get away with him, whether Im running a backline genji that pushes someone when they’re low or flanking to get behind the enemy team it is just so satisfying to pilot the character well. Throughout the years I’ve picked up and dropped a lot of characters but Genji has never stopped being fun. Even when I’m in counter pick hell and get forced to swap, I like that I can command so much attention

that feeling your probably feeling is his indirect nerfs he's received in OW2. for example his shurikens now do less damage , his primary and secondary fire rates were lowered and now there's a healing passive on all roles and armor/hyper armour has been broken for the last 5-6 weeks

I agree he should quit, but not because he's wrong for hating it. This game is shit, its way worse than the first one and deserves all the hate it gets. New players find it fun because they are naive to its issues. When I started it was fun to unlock and try every character, but as soon as you learn how the game plays after a couple months the honey moon phase is over and you can see how shit it is. If you like OW there is nothing wrong with that but that doesn't mean its a good game. We can all like a shitty movie from time to time but just because you like it doesn't mean its good.
