One of the reasons I watch Ray's videos is because of how positive he is. If more people were like Ray the world would be a much better place.

Try telling that to the millions of people around the world who are homeless and barely have any food to eat. Tell them to be more positive so the world will be a better place. It's easy when you're sitting comfortably in front of your computer to make such a comment.

@@piliomar31I had the same as you around your age, but it's now 20+years later and things have got much much better for me. I found that any medication that makes it better in the short term makes it worse in the longer term - so I stopped taking all medication. (Sleeping tablets started the whole thing for me). I found that if ever I pushed myself too much when exercising - going anaerobic - I got really ill and felt like I had the 'flu for two weeks. Swimming caused me a lot of trouble. But with really gentle exercise, and enjoying every moment of everything - yes that's so so so important! - things got better and better for me. I still can't plan ahead because I never know what state I'll be in on any given fat i, but I absolutely make the most of every minute of every day and I'm very productive. I love playing the violin. I've loved every moment since starting it 2.5 years ago. I've not had any muscle / tendon pain at all from it. I only do things that are comfortable and enjoyable. Finding something good in everything you do in real time (like Ray does) is really important for recovering from fibromyalgia and CFS - it's to do with making new brain connections away from the amygdala fear centre. ¡Te deseo una buena recuperación!

This is exactly what music is for. The artist is communicating beauty to the audience, this being even more personal because he plays for a single person. That is similar to old days in Europe where small band played to a guest by his table in tavern "for his ear". Gipsy style too.
