My first Bob Marley cover! I take some influence from Eric Clapton's version as well. My performance can hardly be called reggae but I love exploring the different ways to interpret the groove and move around with the feel. It's a really flexible song that way and a great jam. I hope you enjoy!
"I Shot the Sheriff" was originally released in 1973 on the album Burnin' by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Eric Clapton released his version the following year on his album 461 Ocean Boulevard.

Again Corey shows that he is a monster of a guitar player. The way (in some parts) he strums the strings while highlighting a melody is awesome. From his various lessons on KZbin I believe he is muting strings that are not needed, so that he can keep the strum going. I think that is very difficult to play, and it sounds awesome in this song. A very full sound from a single guitar both rhythm and melody.
