I Show You How To Clean A Glass Splash Back

Learning how to clean a glass splashback and finishing it streak free is, as you will see in this video, pretty easy.
However, simply spraying it with glass cleaner is not the solution. Due to the fats and oils that stick to splash backs you need to wash it first. Use the glass cleaner to finish it streak free (after washing it).

The products I used in this video are:
Jif - it’s a cream cleanser and helps to remove fat spots from splashbacks but this splashback didn’t need it.
A Non-Scratch Scourer - this just makes it easier to remove those fat spots.
Dishwashing Liquid Spray - a squirt of dishwashing liquid with water in a spray bottle.
A microfibre cloth.
A window squeegee is an easy shortcut.
And a drying cloth and a squirt of glass cleaner to finish the job.

I use kitchen paper towel for the final finish wipe to remove any watermark.

I always get little paper bits on the surface when I use paper towel. It is popular though.

My air fryer has left a horrible yellow stain on my beautiful splash back I can’t get it off I tried vinegar baking soda and kitchen degreaser 😢😢😢😢

Hey MeeksLp. Sooo common with air fryers! Can you get Jif cream cleanser where you are? Also what sort of splash back do you have … tiles?

Cif is actually Jif in Australia so it should be good. Use a wet micro fibre cloth and try a small area first. You will effectively need to polish it. Not much pressure to start then a little more if you need to. If it doesn’t budge there is a chance it is a burn mark if it is Perspex (plastic). If it is actually glass you can go hard. Let me know how it goes
