Honestly, I don't think he'd get that salty. He just doesn't seem to give a shit about the game anymore which, frankly, I find completely understandable. It's easy to get salty at something when it's something you care about, but losing at a card game you quit years ago, because you stopped enjoying it, that's gotten way worse than what it was when you quit? There's no reason to feel anything other than apathy, and perhaps a twinge of pity for the poor sods that still put up with this game, myself being one of them. He'd be going into the matches expecting to lose, with nothing to gain from winning, and with no motivation other than someone asking him to for a video.

As someone who left around Witchwood, Reynad really summed up my impressions of modern Hearthstone "I guess everyone does everything now". I feel like every deck I've seen is Aggro with mega healing and board clears and also a combo burst kill. Whereas when I played, each part of that would be its own deck, you'd be full Aggro, OR you'd be a combo burst deck, or you were a mega healing board control. Now all of that is just the same deck.

The opening game shows why I hate the curses. Just "F*** you, take an unmitigable blob of damage that also fills you hand with junk. Also, the only counterplay is be aggro, or have your hand full so I can't put the curses in your hand." Regardless of how well the deck performs, I just have how uninteractive it is.

It was a bit sad in the end - due to him not having experienced Denathrius be played against him or playing it himself, he did not value him enough, otherwise he would have played his Theotar, stealing it back, or at least see and take your hero to get rid of your board for now. But as always, I really like those kind of videos, showing a couple of matches on both sides of the game.
